She thought the courtroom was the perfect place to humiliate him—until the judge started reading that letter. The moment her smile disappeared must have been priceless. Never underestimate the quiet person who comes prepared with the truth.

Evelyn wasn’t nearly as smart as she thought she was.  Her arrogance totally wiped her out.
She knew technology.  She knew nothing about accounting.  Therein lies her demise.
I believe that her mother could also be implicated having a shell company to assist her daughter’s greed.
Accountants are known for keeping monetary records…
I’m glad that her ex husband finally got the business he had wanted all those years.

Absolutely incredible story! It’s a great reminder that arrogance always leads to downfall. Keep up the amazing work, love this content! ❤

This seriously could have been a 5-minute story

I love your story, you are. Very Smart

Thank you for this amazing story....

You should not have faced the debts alone and bailed her out 15 years earlier.  She needed to learn that she wasn't the successful businesswoman she thought.  I would have also had a signed document that the $28,000 would be repaid or equivalent shares in the business.

Greed (and a sense of entitlement) are her downfall.

South Africa. She was ungrateful wife .You keep smiling and rising in your new company..God bless you

Awesome story must have taken a strong mind to resist the powers of an 11yr old now 19. I would have not done anything different. Proves life is not always greener on the other side.

The people who should've protected him were the first to push him out. That's the real tragedy 🤮🤮🤮

Great story ❤ I’m happy for the man and excited for his new life 💙👏

Good enough for her... She should of at least honored the money she owed whether she wanted to stay married to him or not. Spite and greed got her no where, but to the point of fixing to lose her company again this time no one to pull her out of the 🔥😮
