This is so great! As a fellow teacher, I like your style for explaining grammar. You're absolutely right at 17:30, that IS good news. French is my fourth language, and it's been exactly 1 year since I started studying it. I've learned from past languages to keep that first year just focused on reading and listening. There is no rush to speak, at least in my circumstance.

It's only after a year that I move some of my focus to speaking. You are spot on at 17:51, absorption is the best way forward . In the lesson, I was able to translate 2 parts of this exercise ahead of you. This is the first grammar focused French video I've watched from beginning to end, so to be able to just translate ANYTHING shows that the intuition is there and it's developing.

The Witcher 3 Remastered was just released, its a massive RPG game.  I've played it for hundreds of hours in English. Now, I'm confident enough in my abilities to play it in French. My absorption of the language is about to kick into high gear haha
