Barnsley’s rebirth has been absolutely insane. What it’s done to itself really needs to be studied for other northern towns

Being a proud Yorkshire lass, born 'n' bred in Barnsley, i have to say ta much for a reyt good thumbs up for arrtarn 👍x

Always a thumbs up on your videos Matt! They're such fun to watch with interesting places to discover albeit they're listed as one of the worst. There's always new to discover with your extensive research and humor. Looking forward the rest of the list next week. The man at the last part sure is having a time of his life. Cheers!

"May the good Lord deliver us from Hell.....Hull, and Halifax."

Rooftop Gardens was a belting night out.

For a good view of Sheffield I recommend the Royal Hallamshire hospital. Get a lift to one of the upper floors where there’s an out-patient clinic and head for a waiting area with windows.

What an amazing ranker you are buddy 😂 your new strategy on videos is quite interesting but I guess it also takes a lot of time to make? I have to say, I've never really heard about these places and likely will never visit them haha! so it's interesting to learn more about them.

Herschel was from Hanover. He was organist at various locations in Halifax when it was a prosperous town, indicating that it was really very prosperous. Herschel discovered Uranus from his back garden in Bath (using a wholly homemade telescope he and his sister made). He also discovered infra-red light (only he didn;t call it that).

Great video! Living in Leicestershire but I was brought up in catterick garrison in North Yorkshire! And very proud of that too! :)

Im about to start watching and if Dewsbury aint on here, I would be surprised.

Thank you for showing Huddersfield. The town centre has been massively neglected for many years now. And with our council going bust, business rents rising, and the cost of living, things are bad. Huddersfield is massive when you factor in all the little villages that make it up, and some of them are lovely. But it needs investment. Investment that keeps going either down south, or to the cities.

Huddersfield Train Station is mightily impressive.

The Victorian architecture is very good, Matt, just as you say. Excellent video, my friend, and very good references for all the places you've shown us. Greetings from Argentina.

Spent a Friday night out in Barnsley, it was mental! 👍🏻😃

17:10 i live in that corner 🤣 good video mate hope you enjoyed the grandeur of gower road

The VHS rental shop in Wakefield is a secret cocktail bar. The shops on lower Kirkgate (including Wilko) are to be demolished which are why they are all empty.

I'm the Busker in Bridlington.
Great to see we have finally made it onto the map haha.
I remember the drunk guy hounding you thanks for the video made me laugh 😂

Excellent, keep these vids coming.

Can confirm that there are definitely good nights to be had out in Barnsley, best day is probably Barnsley Live where nearly every venue has live music on for a whole town music festival, very busy.

Performed a few times at the Lamproom Theatre with a theatre group and had a good time doing so

Excelente video amigo 😊❤. Me gustó mucho los parque, el jardín de invierno y el unicornio de nariz rara jejeje. Genial recorrido amigo. Abrazos 😊😊
