This set fucking rules. Every card feels premium. I’ve been buying all the Upper Deck DC sets for the past few months and this is by far my favorite (also didn’t hurt that I pulled a sketch on my first box). I suppose I should stop while I’m ahead…
Alas.

4:00 Damn that Larfleeze looks great, always been a huge fan of him since Johns GL run. It’s my favourite card in the pack.

Superior product by UD... design, card stock, artists, quality control. One of the best products I've ever ripped on! Cool video!

Absolute Batman set would go hard

9:22 Francis was my favourite artist at the time I stopped reading comics, I love his art. This is a fairly nice looking set, although I think I preferred the look of one of the last sets you opened, I’d have to go back and look again to be sure.

Nick Dragotta is doing something with upper deck for SDCC, some type of bundle...and I did here somewhere about an absolute universe card coming.

That’s a great idea, they definitely need to do that & fast, and Absolute Batman is getting an animation soon, so I think it’s going to pop off even bigger than it already has. They’ve finally learned from anime that the anime builds the hype for the books themselves.

I think the Absolute universe will take over as the main universe if they actually handle this correctly. Do not oversaturate with too many comics and only use the best writers.

I wanted a marvel chrome mega box and couldn't get my hands on a single one. I went with a couple boxes of this instead and I like these cards better anyway. Too bad marvel has all the hype right now. These cards are awesome.

I'm a sucker for card and sets

Thought for sure your idea was going to be a DC Masterpieces set with Joe Jusko. He's done so little DC art in his career, it's a no brainer. They really should do more artist-focused sets, the problem I have with these kinds of cards is the art is all over the place; there's no sense of a "set", just a bunch of random art styles and artists. The Absolute Batman idea would be good too, because there's a solid theme.
