The worst thing that can happen to anyone is comparing our experience with someone else's and thinking that they're having a better time than us.

Just enjoy your ride for what it is, there will be good times and not so good times, just remember to enjoy it while you're doing it, and don't look at how/what others look like.

I’m 67 and still like to hustle along on my wonderful T 7 but it’s heavy for me now. The AJP has me thinking I can extend my years of enjoying hauling ass adventure riding and your excellent video has enlightened me. Thank you.

The wobble in the suspension you talked about is not a springing issue - it’s a damping issue. You probably just needed a rebound adjustment.

I would certainly hope nothing would go wrong with 2000 miles

On the 390 adventure now. The PR7 is now avaliable in my area. Its so tempting but having two bike loans is tough pill to swollow.

Hi I’ve seen some videos on this and it always comes out positive and I was thinking of getting one.Trouble is finding a dealer near me at the moment I live in Essex right on the east coast not far from Ipswich no dealers for them at the moment I ride a new Ktm790adv and love it. Still with the exhaust and the stupid tablet - for years these issues have been known, discussed and yet tumbleweed from ajp - these reasons are why i will not go near it, much as i like it

I keep eyeing up the PR7, I’ve got a Kove 450 at the moment, and I’ve had the 701, T7 and some enduros, DRZs etc etc.
if a good used one popped up for sale near me I would have had one by now.
I’m not sure how much different it will be to my Kove. But had my Kove for a year now and I tend to change bikes often. I just get the itch.

Glad I watched this, as I was considering the PR7. I came off the Harley Pan America 1250, and I am currently on the new 25’ KTM 390 ADV R. It’s okay, and does both road and dirt just fine, but, it’s only 45HP and not so good low end. I do miss the brute power of the a bigger ADV. I will wait and see what you will do with your Husky. BTW, my cousins son in law just got the Husky 701, and he absolutely loves it. It’s lighter than my 390 and 30 more HP. Except for flat out full throttle running, I had no issues keeping up with him on dual track and mild single track.

Salut, j’ai la PR7 depuis septembre 2023 acheté  neuve et parcouru 17000km en moins de 2 ans.
Tu as fais 2000/3000km  c’est faible pour parler de fiabilité. Concernant la position de l'échappement  et de son collecteur tout est visible avant que tu l’achetes. Il y a peu de modification à faire. Mais il faut les faire.
Les amortisseurs sont souples,il convient suivant ton poids donc 88kg pour toi de changer les ressorts de fourche. et d'amortisseur. C’est le cas sur toutes les motos.
Pour la tablette, c’est de la merde. Pour être claire, je confirme que c’est la meilleur moto au monde pour voyager en zone hostile sur des longues distances. Mais elle ne braque pas ou peu cecsui veut dire que cnestboas la moto á choisir pour faire de l’enduro, d'ailleurs  son poids de 160kg est un indicateur. C’est fait pour de la piste,raid ai Maroc et autre en mode voyages. .concernant la revente, c’est à prendre conscience à l’achat. Mais  il n’y a rien de comparable sur le marché, une 701,ou 690 R demande de la préparation et beaucoup de dépense pour arriver  a la même  configuration. Et tu ne retouves pas ton argent à la revente.

Personally I would have just removed the rally tower and put a normal AJP PR5 headlamp and face on it and kept it for conversion back to a travel bike for long trips in the future. I appreciate the restricted steering lock aspect but I would compromise on that for the comfort. I bet your bum feels the difference now you are back on a plank of wood after that super comfortable seat!
