I saw this in theatres the weekend It came out. A lot of people did not realize it was an R rated movie and brought their kids. Yeah, about 10 minutes in a lot of them left. Which makes the whole experience funnier.

26:34 it is a reference to 'Mommie Dearest' a memoir written by Christina Crawford that got a movie adaptation in 1981.

Can't believe you missed the Airplane reference, the whole dance scene is basically a direct copy of the dance scene from Airplane.

Sounds like someone needs to watch Flash Gordon.

28:17 I think that scene is really important because he was never scared of the thunder he just wanted to be with his buddy. Or the sadness of Ted's death made him unafraid of it.

As a kid I accidentally came across a different version of Flash Gordon it was called flesh Gordon and you can guess what it was about 😂 🔞

It's like Wedding Crashers for drawing the fine line, and maybe goes a little further, or falls short. "Okay, so the scariest environment imaginable. Thanks. That's all you gotta say, scariest environment imaginable.”

Ted has no appendage. Thats why he used a parsnip

+1 to not believing you missed the airplane reference. To answer your question; yes, you have to meet your hero, she should have understood.

The clip with Carson was real but edited. It was when Emmanuel Lewis was a guest. If I recall when Johnny said I thought you would be taller Emmanuel said so did my mom!

As a fellow renter - don't worry, someone has died in every place you have lived. On the upside, Ghostbusters was fiction. Ghost - fiction. The Sixth Sense - fiction. Your home - probably fiction.
