When USA beat Canada in round robin, the Americans spent days bragging. Then Canada beat USA in the final, and suddenly Americans were saying this tournament meant nothing. That was hilarious.

The NHL just showed how to do an All-Star break. The best players in the world actually competing their hearts out, giving THE best player a chance to shine even brighter. Damn. I used to be a big hockey fan and just kinda stopped watching but this is a great reminder of why I love this sport.

Congratulations Canada from the Netherlands! Great game!

congratulations to Canada 🇨🇦 !! from Mexico 🇲🇽 😊

Can I get a thumbs up for those of you who agree to ditch the very boring All-Star game and bring on four Nations hockey?!!!! What a series..!!!! What a game!!!!! Go Canada 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦

About a billion extra temporary Canadian ice hockey supporters for this one.

Congratulations to a great and independent Nation Canada! From Singapore!🇨🇦🇸🇬🇨🇦🇸🇬🇨🇦🇸🇬

Congrats Canada ! 🇨🇦 from Denmark .

What a glorious day for Canada, and therefore of course, the world.

People that said this tournament didn't matter, look at the joy on the bench after that goal. Look at the demise in the Americans face. It was pure cinema this game. The NHL needs to adopt this asap instead of the All-star game.
What a great game for both countries. So many plots:
Jordan Bennington - got dragged through the mud the entire tournament, and comes up with one of the biggest goalie outings I've ever seen.
Crosby- on the back 9 of his career and always winning, could he do it again. Ends up dominating the tournament and wins again.
USA- won in the prelims but could they get over that hurdle of taking home the championship game.
Mathews - could he take the step as the captain to drive the team. Had a great final game but ultimately left his player wide open in OT on the game winner.
Mcdavid- what can you say about this guy. If he could show up in the big game, and boy did he show up.

It felt like a passing the torch moment from Crosby to Mcdavid.

Great game USA, the skill on both teams was elite.
But Canada, we took it home baby!!!!

What a game! Binnington is magic.

Congrats from Switzerland; Canada, we stand with you! 🇨🇦🇨🇭

American here congratulating the SOVEREIGN nation of Canada for a job well done!

Long LIVE CANADA!!!!
LOVE FROM THE UK.

Great job Canada from the USA!!!

They need to make national heritage commercials featuring Jordan Binnington's performance from this game. He was a national hero for that effort, particularly in OT.

This is how all disputes between nations should be settled. Canada 4 Ever : ) :medal-yellow-first-red:☺

Congrats to Canada!!
That was epic!!

I watched McDavid's goal 20 times and cried, thanks from Ukraine…

Congatulations from Kazakhstan!
