I live in Alaska, in the middle of nowhere. And the things I have seen, heard, experienced, will blow your mind. From Indian burial ground curses, to Hell Hounds, to haunted neighborhoods. I’ve learned to walk a fine line between fear and respect. There are rules to follow, boundaries that must be respected, and stories to be handed down generation to generation. I’m considering starting my own YouTube channel just to share these stories. I dunno if that genre’s been oversaturated or not.
Edit: Well it’s looks like I’m building a YouTube channel. I figure people would’ve been sick of hearing about that kind of stuff.
Geraldine was well known to her friends and family to be easily lost/misdirected. She was previously hiking the trail with a friend who was the more seasoned hiker with a better sense of direction. That friend had to abandon the hike due to an emergency and begged Geraldine to not continue without her. However, Geraldine thought she could continue on her own since her own husband was checking in on her physically. Geraldine just stepped off the trail to use the bathroom. You have a certain set amount of feet you are required to be from the path before you can "go" and this is where she became confused which was allegedly very characteristic of her. I do feel very bad for her family and friends but I can't help wonder if this story is as spooky as it might otherwise sound.
Northeast TN here and i used to get in trouble for the slamming doors and footsteps in the middle of the night because my dad wouldnt believe it wasnt me. I used to be so scared listening to it happen and then being blamed was the crap cherry on top.
I'm from New York and I've seen these stairs in the woods, in central park also parks in the Bronx and Brooklyn when I was a kid . My older brother always warned if I go up there I won't come back here to this time. Stepping on the steps opens something he warned . My grandmother seen these doors in Puerto Rico when she was a kid. Always never far from water she said. Her sister disappeared through those doors as soon as she stepped on the steps ... I listened and I'm glad I did now pass it on to your babies everything you've learned or seen about the woods about animal and insect behavior pass it on
Apparently Geraldine was not the safest hiker according to those who knew her. She got turned around after leaving the trail to use the bathroom and made the mistake of continuing to move and when she was sure she couldnt find it is when she stopped. The grid for the search, which was large, barely missed her. Had they gone a ways further they would have found her. When ur looking out it wasnt a straight shot. U have have elevated and sloped terrain which hinders seeing something 100 yards away.
@17:49 The older lady getting lost sounds like Silent Hill(2006)situation.
There is a scene in the first movie that shows the main character and her husband at the same place at the same time but in two different parallel dimensions.
I've heard a couple stories like these. I'm not sure if it's triggered by time or just things shift because of the area that maybe ancient. Sad that she went through that but very scary.
38:00 - Sounded like a Stick Breaking or Cracking right behind Her at the same time She's recounting the Story of Her & Her Friends when They were Kid's.. Purdy damn wild! Unless ... She got someone to do that at that exact point in Time within Her Story BUT I honestly don't think She would have done. Her Reaction looks like, to ME Purdy Genuine 😮 ANYHOW, Good Stuff - I realize it's just a Compilation of Other Tic-Tok Creatures but Still, lol I've always enjoyed getting up early while it's still Dark to listen/watch these Type Video's. Appalachia has Always Intrigued Me! SUCH WILD STUFF Man!! 😮🔥 😮🔥😮
Megan Chacalos' story was so funny!!! She was my favorite. I really enjoyed the way she expresses herself and the manner she explains her story. It's really enjoyable! 😅😅😅🤣🤣🤣
My husband was stationed at Ft Campbell KY. He claims he saw a staircase in the woods where their commander told them to never, ever go up these stairs. He also claims as a boyscout in the 70s, his troop saw a hairy creature walking upright through the woods in the Uwharrie National forest. Bigfoot has been spotted there alot. There is even a visitors center with a Bigfoot statue. He won't state it was a Bigfoot. He says he didn't know what it was. Also when he was stationed in Korea in the 80s, he saw a Korean soldier walking down the hall and walk through the wall. His clothing was from the Korean war. The building he was in was used as a hospital during the Korean war. He will not admit he saw a ghost. He says he was hallucinating because he had been up 24 hours. What do yall think?
