IMPORTANT!! Whilst they will have the two player starter set at UKGE, it won't be for sale. It will be there for demos.
I'll amend this comment with anything else important.

This feels like an Armored Core/Front Mission table top game. Nice.

In Korea, this started being sold in 2024 and has already become quite popular among miniature gamers. I’ve picked up a lot of RDL, UN, and other Lab products myself and have really enjoyed playing. I think it has strong potential to succeed globally too. The new 2-player starter sets are only just starting to release, and I hope the game gets the attention and appreciation it deserves from the wider gaming community.

We have Gundam Assemble at home (and it does look kinda cooler)

Watched your other video about this game, lost my damn mind, immediately bought two boxes of stuff. This game is my literal dream game, and I'm so excited for the team and hopeful their future success!

Those angel investors were amazing ! I have been evangelizing this game wherever I can.the models are so well crafted and the care they put in on the hobby side of things is top notch. Also the obsidian protocol is just the first protocol the game will have different titles with each new release now that it's called Ember. So as an example like next set of models could be called Ember : armored core protocol. Least that's what I read a while ago on the discord and seeing some of the interviews being translated

Clearly a labour of love. Now if I can just get them in Singapore.

Dude so many stones in the road, and since 2010, I find mecha wargames are the hardest to take off? conspiracy? bad luck? IDK.

Thats literally what my inner child dreamed to play

So, basically, a tabletop version of Armored Core with some light deckbuilding.

I'll keep an eye out for further updates on this game. I'll probably collect the sets just for the mecha design alone. The RDL aesthetic looks so good with how industrial and practical they look.

Hope these sets release in the Philippines.

the thumbnail made me think it was related to phantom brigade because the designs looked so alike. i mainly clicked because i wondered if there was some big update i missed lol

Interesting? I think there's terrific scope here for a game about the enormous challenges faced by passionate and visionary gamers and would-be  entrepreneurs embarking on an incredibly ambitious game design with uncompromising production values and involving the highest level of technical complexity as their first project while retaining their sanity, staying in business and seeing the project through to completion after overcoming every conceivable hurdle and generating a level of pre-release anticipation never before experienced in the industry and creating a saga that possibly eclipses the intrinsic entertainment value of the game itself, though that would be a shame, wouldn't it?

The history of this game is crazy, good on them for sticking with it over the years

This is the first I've seen of both the game and your channel, and man, every bit of this game is a mecha and war gamer's dream! The models look BEAUTIFUL, and while I'd love to see some actual gameplay, this is definitely on my radar now. :D

I'm a 'Warlord' (full send) backer of E:OP; I've received the RDL and UN Core and Expansion boxes, the printed cardboard game boards, and dice. Waiting on the Manual (I've got a PDF of the beta release), the Terrain, and the GoF. I've faith enough to order most of the 'Lab Series' units (mostly Merc units that can be hired by any of the major factions).

The mech customization aspect is really deep and building synergistic mech teams is a large part of the fun. Games are action packed and fast paced (our max point games last about an hour 30 max). UN mechs are sleek and agile, but squishy. RDL mechs are more slow, but robust and flexible.

As someone that thought off and tried designing a modular style card/board game before the fact that they got the system finalize and in such a compact package is impressive by itself

And I'm really not that surprise about he 2 angel backers due to the fact that the industry pretty much doesn't care about mecha since like the late 00's, the fact that a new armored core game was going to come out was a huge surprise to the community when it was announced.

So when a pretty solid idea and product is in trouble the community pitching in and helping out is quite common to see, especially considering that the community would even pitch in and help strangers when their collection get  destroyed by natural disasters or a break in

Great to hear a story like this. There have been too many campaigns that were sadly (yet often understandably) very poorly run that never made it manufacture. Good on them for sticking it out and plugging through their mistakes and inexperience

The Mech design looks Dope!

just want to point out, mechanical fan is prob just a mistranslation of mecha fans because the literal translation of the chinese term for mecha is mechanical
