🎬 Welcome to MOVIE MOORONS 🎬

Hi, I’m Erik Moore—a proud mooron who loves movies and TV shows a little too much. I’m queer, dramatic, probably annoying to anyone without taste, and armed with a dry sense of humor and a face that says it all.

If you’re TOO serious… this channel is NOT for you.

Join me as I laugh, cry, scream, and occasionally rage at some of your favorite movies and shows—alongside my dog Graham and my fellow Moorons Shawna, Rachel, Jake and Derek. Expect first-time reactions, unfiltered opinions, chaos, and zero chill.

🎥 New reactions.
😂 Bad takes.
🔥 Big feelings.

“Life’s a little fun when you’re a little dumb—and you’re hanging with the Movie Moorons.”

I like the rotating cast of watch buddies for these films. Barbarian is a good precursor to the director's big hit Weapons.

I love how the coffin mirror shows the movie in the reflection. Very fun.

The first time I watched this movie and Mama Gollum came running out of the dark, my soul left my body. By the end of the movie, I wanted Mama Gollum to get Justin Long.

What most people don't realize is that the reason Tess goes back to the air b&b after her interview is because she already has a crush on Keith and if she never goes back her chances of pursuing a relationship with him is going to be difficult. I think most people have had a first time encounter with someone and wanted to get together with them again and get to know them better. I do agree there were lots of other bad decisions made in this movie though lol. Also the reason Keith didn't want Tess to leave for good was because he really liked her too.

I had this discussion last weekend because the youngest wanted to watch Lee Cronin's The Mummy at the movies. All of us, except the 18 year old, HATES scary movies but because their father doesn't allow her to watch on her own, I have to go watch these horror movies with her because the eldest teen and their father insists they are never going to watch such movies. Why is it always me??

Then I remember my mom following me to watch a midnight screening of The Ring at the cinema when I was younger..

The point was that the monsters were AJ and the father guy. The audience judges Kieth for being too nice and the mother because of her deformity and low IQ. The movie states that the audience or world today are the barbarians. Horror is only shown towards them(Kieth,Ma) while AJ and the father are shrugged off as normal.

Airb&b they charge a cleaning fee yet want you to clean before you leave

Not a horror film, but Blue Velvet (1986) is a classic thriller by David Lynch that you guys should react to at some point. Really messed up

19:17 nope, not true. I live two towns over from Gary IN and have often driven through neighborhoods like this and you absolutely can tell in the dark. Maybe not during a rain storm, but. Still.

The big theme of the movie is what they discussed in the beginning. Something like, "Men can just push their way through life leaving a mess wherever they go. It's a lot different for a woman." The men consistently pushed their will on the people around them. Skarsgaard just pushed his way into the basement. The creep pushed his way into the woman's home under a guise of trust. Justin pushed himself on a woman. The police pushed away her story for their opinion. The women were all in more cautious and caring roles.

I also like Tess at the beginning, "If I was here first, I wouldn't have let you in." And in the flashback, the woman let the creep in when he pretended to be plumber. Not sure what the symbolism of that is, but I thought it was an interesting contrast. Maybe that's why she survived.
