I updated the link to the mod, because it wasn't working! I assume it's because I linked directly to the file - it might have been automatically blocked as potentially unsafe. Should work now - apologies for this!

look, all the romantic energy from the drama professors had to go somewhere

"wanting to flirt with dogs is a sign of corruption" is one of my favorite lines of text ive ever read

I’m just surprised Pescado is still contactable and fixing stuff

seeing my old screenshot from 7 years ago (of the sim wanting to flirt with the dog) is wild because my game does NOT look like that anymore haha

Never had this mod and never had these wants... not a coincidence!

You're like House MD, coorruption is your lupus

Can I just say how much I love that you include the non-dumbed down explanation for bugs? Your simple explanations are great for accessibility to the greater community, but so many creators don't delve deeper than that anymore, and as a programmer myself I love learning about the nitty gritty coding hell ❤

"THE GAME IS BROKEN!!!"
"are you running mods?"
"HOW IS THAT RELEVENT?"
"are you?"
"YES"

I can just imagine Pescado's face when he finds out his mod caused all this chaos lol. I've never used this mod myself, and I don't really play with pets that often. So I just thought those inappropriate wishes were a bug. Turns out it was this the whole time lmao

Considering Pescado's huge backlog of mods I'm actually quite impressed this is the only mod of theirs that has caused a notable problem for players!

April, huge thanks for all your work debunking those dumb corruption myths. What you're doing is priceless for the community. After twenty whole years of this game existing, we're finally seeing some common sense spread around!

One day a goth woman appeared and singlehandedly (well maybe not exactly singlehandedly, but still) started to detangle all the glitches and supposed corruptions of the Sims 2, that have been floating in the community for quite some time. And I'm all here for it! :D

It's fascinating how one single line in a mod causes these effects. Kinda appreciate the classic "My game doesn't work properly! The devs ruined it! Also I got this cool ass mod...".

I’m so glad to be living and playing the game in the era where game corruption isn’t an ever-present threat, looming over us and ready to strike fear into us at any minor glitch.

I can't explain how excited I get seeing your videos aaa!!!

3:00 To be fair, I often want to befriend a cat. So maybe the game is working as intended

OMG, the hubris. Pescado has for over 20 years claimed that his mods are completely infallible. I love it.

i just love it when a diva takes over and does techdiva stuff I don't understand yet I admire. tysm for these videos and for proving that the sims 2 is not that corruption shithole everyone claims.

If I had a nickel for every time a "common game bug" turned out to be caused by a mod...

It's actually cool that he went back and fixed the mod after so long. Now I have to check my mods folder and see if I have this mod XD
