Me: can't focus in classes.
Also me: will sit through 20 videos of an esoteric subject, make notes, and come back to them when needed.

Love your work, thank you for all the knowledge through your channel!

I'm so glad that this video series exists. More people need to know about Yahweh's six-pack.

"The relationship between Yahweh and Israelites... Let's call it Rocky" UNDERSTATEMENT OF THE MILLENNIUM!!!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣, THANK YOU FOR YOU LECTURES!!! they are wonderful and very well founded.

“God is appearing to you currently on the screen” man, I love your sense of humour

''Sorry, Venkman. I'm terrified beyond the capacity for rational thought.'' - Ghostbuster full of awe

I just want to say that your youtube channel is a wonderful resource on some very rich and often talked about topics. I can't say I understand everything and because of the business of my own life I cannot delve as deeply as I would often like but I do appreciate anyone making their knowledge (and time) available for all the enjoy!

Doctor, you have a gift for teaching and speaking that you should never take for granted.  Many people, including myself, would love to have your talent for spoken communication.

YHWH never skips Ab day..

Best takeaway: Never invite a prophet to your party 😂 But seriously, this is very interesting and informative, and your humor keeps the content from getting too dry, no matter how dry it (humor) is,👍

This format is way more engaging than your other videos. I like the more animated, less rote and rehearsed, style you show here. The passion you have for the subject is evident and it draws me in.

Absolutely wonderful class Dr. Sledge. As a Gnostic, you’ve no idea how thankful I am that someone covers things like Kabbalah, Gnosticism, and Hermeticism through a scholarly and historical perspective. Theirs waaaay too much new age misinformation out there, you get straight to the facts! God bless you.

I'm not Jewish but there's something about kabbalah I find interesting, I will continue to read and learn more.

I tried going raw into Kaplan's version of the Sefer Yetzirah with no prior experience and... uh... I'm glad I found this series

Can relate. Haven't been to synagogue since I was a teenager. Took one kabbalah class about 30 years ago. But hyper/micro-commentary is still my jam. One lesson I remember from my rabbi was an anecdote that begins with "On the one hand..." and picks up an hour later with "...on the other hand."

I feel like I’m back in seminary. I loved seminary and I love this. Thank soooo much. Brilliant lecture!

Wonderful video! There is so much content in the Kabbalah, it’s nice to see a scholarly unbiased approach!!!

thank you so much for making these videos, we are so lucky to be alive at a time where all of this information is readily available.

7 minutes in, so far and really looking forward to this.

I am not religious or spiritual at all.  I shed my religious upbringing like an uncomfortable and poorly-fitting coat decades ago. I have no idea what "spirituality" means to me personally, and I'm skeptical that the word even has an objective non-personal meaning. My interest in religion and spirituality is firmly rooted in the exact sort of "historical materialist" methodology you champion - I'm interested in them purely as cultural constructs that form, evolve, diverge, merge and cross-pollinate in cultural contexts through history.

I have zero interest in "becoming a Kabbalist" and I honestly doubt I could listen to a Kabbalist teaching Kabbalah for more than about 5 minutes without rolling my eyes and noping right out of there. But a 10 part lecture series from Dr Sledge on the subject? I am SO up for this!

This is fascinating, especially the part about Devorah and Miriam which I didn’t know of. I wish there were more historical discoveries related to these women (as well as Hulda).
