We've been waiting for an inspection on our $40,000 electrical service upgrade for a while and the moment has finally come. Will it pass? Only one way to find out. + we plumb the barn, hang up some beautiful stained glass, and fix some other little things that have been driving me crazy on the farm.

Most restoration channels I find relaxing to watch. This one stresses me out.

The spigot was in the center of the barn because Winter Is Coming

You kind of start thinking while you're working on your boss's third 200A service , if you're ever going to be able to get your first 100A service.

I like how only half of the swears get censored out 😂

I think you need to install a drainage port for the winter; otherwise, your pipes will burst.

Whoever edits your videos needs a raise. Love the editing style and little bits+sound effect :D

Is no one going to talk about the inspector? What a guy he hopped over a fence to inspect it.

@wmrg1057 4 days ago

Don't forget to drain the hoses before they freeze come winter as you put no insulation around the "pipes"!

First step of the barn adventure should have been gut it and clean it. . . then maybe knock it down.😂

I bought an old home. I didn't want to, but we needed somewhere to live and it was the only thing on the market. I'm up to my eyeballs in debt, I try to save money by doing projects myself and they either come out wrong or I get stunlocked trying to start them because I'm not sure what I'm about to do is the best or even correct way. I'm so glad I found this channel, it's helped my confidence immensely.

I love how this barn is holding on by a wing and a prayer and you like “Hey! Let’s drill some more holes in it!”

@NullReference119 4 days ago

That feeling when you see the structure of the barn and you know the entire thing is going to have to be replaced... but wonder when Later Jake will realize that?

You chose PEX b, which is a much stiffer but cheaper form of PEX.

20:22 My mother has done this to every single doorframe and trim in our beautiful stained spruce farmhouse. I keep telling her over and over that it looks so much better stained, and she ignores me and says, "But modern looks so much better!!!" I will never get over it.

I think my favorite part of your videos, is the not spending money, and not having to deal with the government and inspections, and having to deal with all the old crusty barn shit... Great vids as usual.
