I just got a brand new one as well. I also note the difference in the canvas when comparing it to my older canvas items. However, I heard from other videos that they actually intentionally made the canvas softer and made the new model slightly thicker. My guess is that they might be trying to accommodate users who love to stuff their mini pochette and pochette cles, as you can see such videos all over YouTube. That said, I would probably prefer the old model too if given a choice.

I absolutely prefer my older model. My older model is one of my first LV purchases many many years ago. I put my new one away and continue to use my old version. I purchased an excellent jewelry polishing cloth. I will polish the hardware from time to time restoring the shine. I’ll wipe the canvas with a white clean damp cloth with warm water only (no detergent) and she looks good as new!

Loved this comparison! I have a 2020 model in monogram and compared it against my friend's 2018 model and could definitely see and feel the difference. Both are made in France as well. The two pieces of canvas on mine doesn't align perfectly and you can definitely see gaps of light when looking into the interior! Currently trying to source a pre-loved older model ):

The old model looks so much better imo.   :/

If it's not made in France, I don't want it.

I preferred old model too. I have one in 2018 and the canvas is thicker and recently I ordered another one in 2020 and the canvaa is so thin that I feel like selling away and find another preloved one with thicker canvas. Thanks for the great comparison, this is the video I am looking for. Have a good day.😃

Very good review! I’m so happy the new one is more flexible and spacious. For me it will be better because I like to use this key pouch as so, a key pouch. It will fit my car fob and my house keys better. I have the old model in monogram and  will buy the new one in damier. If I like it, I will sell my old one and buy the new version of the monogram too.

I have mine also new model I like it but stitchings are bad and you can see light through mine made in USA when I bought it the chemical smells was so bad but during the use the smell went away I enyoy mine hard to find but I love it. Decide to keep it

Shame that quality decreases but prices triple!

maybe try putting something inside then open and close the zipper

Does anyone have longer chain ? Coz i find mine kinda long

The new model looks like a fake

Old model is better quality canvas for sure.

Ummm i like still the old version. Keep blogging and lets connect
