It’s crazy seeing you look like a normal size for once

Is that Robert Irvine? That’s awesome. Man’s like 60.

Hanging with those big boys is no joke, I'd say you represented yourself and strongman very well

Man, you can't hate this man. The guy is trying everything and don't care to be embarrassed while learning on the way. Love that attitude!

What I've noticed in every weight room I've ever been in, there are no strangers. Every dude in the place is there with there own agenda but will put that on hold to spot you or give advice. It's almost like a brotherhood of sorts. Not saying there aren't d**ks but they are few and far between. Hats off to the gym bros.

crazy group of people in this workout A+ video brother

I see my boy Will Campbell

Tristin Wirfs is one heck of an athlete, I have watched him walk across two wrestling mats on his hands and there is video out there of him jumping out of 4' of water and landing on the edge of the pool on his feet.  For his size, both of those things are crazy feats.  He is also just a great person, very down to earth.

Honestly 25% is pretty impressive considering the athletes you'd be going against have essentially been training a specific skill for upwards of 15-20 years.

Can't help but notice you listed Wrifs and Dawkins as OF - that's a baseball position! They're offensive tackles, the position is OT  - however OL for offensive lineman or simply T is acceptable.

It’s wild to see how top tier athletes NFL players are as this guy doesn’t seem that different from them and they have the other skill aspects

Pullups were impressive for the big men. Thats tough

Damn man, i used to be in peak condition and could basically play any sport. My father had me doing everything growing up. At some point some bad stuff happened when I was 14 in my life. I still played a ton of sport but became a victim to my life at some point and gave it all up. You really motivated me to take my life back. I miss feeling amazing and being capable of almost anything. It's time to get strong as hell, ripped af, and athletic again. There's something about the brotherhood of sport I dearly miss. Thanks brotha, this video took me back.

Strength is obviously important but things like how you actually move, toughness, football iq etc are way bigger parts of the game

this was cool. i love that you throw yourself into things like this. the conditioning and going outside the comfort zone will surely have some cross over benefit for strongman too. loved this video.

Keys to OT.. Lower body strength(being able to anchor for bullrush),Upper body strength(deliver initial punch/jolt), Hand placement(no flags/control DL), Lat/Vertical movement to be able to redirect/ Kick step(keeping shoulders square) to create depth on pass rushers on passing plays/some run/pass options. Core strength.
Quick feet, Knowing/understanding playbook/Check plays/Snapcount,how to pull/block in space/slide protect, Your QB/RB tendencies/QB cadence, Understanding/Knowledge of DL tendencies/schemes, Ability to communicate to coaches with what youre seeing on the field. OL requires the most explosive/agile/smart individuals as you HAVE to stay under control. Your best OTs are going to be smart/Tall/long arms/agile/not too heavy/light. OGs/Centers are the same but want more of a mauler in the run game.
Current/Classic examples: Trent Williams(OT) Johnathan Ogden((OT), Larry Allen(OG), Bruce Matthews(OG), D. Dawson(C), Jason Kelce(C).

Seeing Josh Bridges (my favorite crossfit athlete)and you doing stuff together is a treat. Very different styles of athletes, so i love seeing that overlap.

The speed and agility lane and all those lineman need to protect their quarterbacks is the biggest difference. One misstep when they’re trying to stop Myles Garrett their qb is on the ground. Great video, thank you.

As a diehard patriots fan it makes me so happy seeing Will campbell there. He was dominant all season and then he got hurt and had to go up against the best edge rushers in the league at like 80% in the playoffs. He will be a star in this league as a lineman.

Great video. Really enjoyed it
