Coloring Bliss

I’ve had my eye on Meeden for a while now because I like their products. So when I saw that they had released a new set of colored pencils, I was quick to grab them. I was also happy to see that they had a 120 set. Watch me test them to see how they stack up against other inexpensive oil based colored pencils like JusArt.

Dear colored pencil companies, I know that you think gold print is fancy, but please…PLEASE give us print on pencils that we can read! Ok, rant over. 😅

Always fun to see another pencil review. I keep reminding myself that I don’t need another set.😂

Rose’s bed looks like cotton candy.💞

Meeden is well-known for having high-quality products, especially their paints, painting supplies & easels, so I would've been shocked if their colored pencils had turned out to be white labeled. Could you do a review of their new direct-ink, brush-tip acrylic markers? Rose is so cute no matter what she sits/sleeps on. 🧡🧡🧡

Rose looks incredibly happy in this video; happier than ever! She’s so cute! And thank you of course for the review; didn’t even know about these pencils!

I am actually impressed that they seem heavy on darker tones - by now I have plenty of various pastel sets but I always struggle to find good darks, especially in a budget set.
Edited to add: Rose is an awesome little princess! My little lady is also super picky about beds and blanket placements, lol

That bed is tooooo cute! Even if she never uses you’ve got to get a picture of her cuz she’s so darn cute in it! What a kind and thoughtful gift!

The amount of time and work you put into your videos are so appreciated and amazing. We appreciate you so much for doing these videos for us! I absolutely do not buy anything in the art world that I do not go in and look to see if you have reviewed it! Tysm! And give Rosie kisses for me! Also I absolutely agree with Steve. To many mid tones and not enough lights. But it's very nice set.

My first impression is that they look so much like Irojiten!

I just really want to tell you thank you so much for your reviews. They really helped me a lot and as a new self learning Todd artist it’s really helpful to have all the information about products and the price range and what’s good thank you so much.

I got the sale price, when ordered a couple days ago. Received yesterday, prepared swatches, and I have been coloring with them today, I love these!

Rose's new bed: try again in winter. That looks like a type of fleece, so it might get too warm too quickly. Maybe that's why she prefers the cooler cotton pillow. My dogs don't really lay on fleece in summer, not for long anyway. 😊 Or maybe she's just an old lady that doesn't like change.
Thank you for all your hard work and great content.
Now just hoping Meeden is gonna be available here in South Africa.

Thank you Jennifer for all your hard work swatching these new pencils. I did buy the 72-set because I do not have a set of oil-based pencils. I enjoyed coloring on smooth paper and over watercolor to add detail and texture. Happy Coloring 🙂

I like Meeden very much. I'm using their oil pastels now and I'm happy with them. These pencils look beautiful!
