Brilliant video. One note though: When Day-Lewis' glass is being grabbed, he says "That's my carrot juice", not "That's my character's".

I love No Country For Old Men but it's absolutely ridiculous that There Will Be Blood didn't win best picture. It's a master piece and I'm pretty sure the Academy will eventually recognize their mistake if they haven't done so already.

@16:15 the last bit Daniel says is so important. He's such an incredible actor because in between movies he's out there doing things, experiencing things, aside from just movie set to movie set that add to what he draws on to create his characters.

Phantom Thread was fucking awesome! If it wasn't for Gary Oldman's incredible performance as Winston Churchill , Lewis would have took his 4th Academy Award.

This should have a lot more views, unlike other channels you actually put a shit ton of work and research into each video instead of just making one unsubstantiated claim after another and I do appreciate that a lot. Thanks for all the effort put into this videos.

Lincoln is the movie that endeared me to Daniel the most. Just like Love & Mercy finally endeared me to Paul Dano. Up until then they always played hard characters to like.
