Gary thanks so much for coming to visit us, hopefully see you soon for a fire cooking class! Sorry I couldn't chat more on the day, but thanks so much for your amazing comments, it means the world to us 🙏❤️

Dear Gary, I am writing to tell you how much you helped my husband in the last year of his life.  My beautiful Clivey was a surgeon who had to give up working three years ago due to ill health.  It was very difficult for him, after such a busy, active life.  He was virtually bed bound for the last year of his life and watching you and your eating adventures became a regular treat for us, even though we live in New Zealand.  My son lived in London for a while so we sent him your recommendations and once or twice he sampled food from your favourite places.  But, what I really wanted to say was that you became a singular source of joy and interest to us, so much so that now he has, sadly died (I am crying, now) I am going to watch you in his honour and think of the happy times we had watching you.  Thank you to you and your son, the enigmatic camera man! I will continue watching you and have subscribed, myself. (The subscription was always on Clivey's computer!). Best, Hayley Solomon

It’s been said by others before but the additional graphics of the receipt and things is a great feature. Thank you for the review Gary, it looked lovely food and location.

Local businesses sourcing local produce supporting the local economy is the way forward. And the food looks delicious

The reason I watch your videos is that you are always so respectful towards everyone; that is what this world needs right now. Thanks, Gary, for another great food review.

What a gem of a culinary find...

Best food review chanel on the tube..

Let’s get Gary to 500k by the end of the year, he deserves it with his brilliant reviews

On our doorstep this one. Something very special about this place. From the team to the food, all spectacular

I saw that food come out and out loud said "Wow" - For a place that's a bit under the radar, looks incredible.

very cool place ...proper UK vibes  ..old school

I am practically drooling over my keyboard, not just looking at those awesome plates of REL breakfasts ,but hearing the young lad wax lyrical about the smoker and the importance of sustainability....just brilliant...

The best breakfasts are cooked over an open fire! That's why I like camping😊.

I absolutely love Embers. Used to live 20 mins away but now over 2 hours away and l really miss it as well as Ironbridge. It's probably my happy place! So excited to watch this. Adam, the Shropshire Lad, is an amazing chef!

Wife: what are we getting in the shopping this week?
Me: KIPPERS!

I agree, the new receipt pop up on screen is an excellent addition to the channel.

That all looked smashing, Gary.

The one with the pulled pork looked really good.

That smoke ring you can see in the pork looks outstanding. They do indeed know what they're doing.

Just goes to show eating at a place where the owners passion for serving quality food, coupled with friendly service in nature, attracts customers.

It is wonderful to see people take pleasure in what they do. The passion sells the product. That food looks incredible!
