The coolest thing is trumpet player Mike Leonhart played drums on the entire record. Well done.

Michael's Dad, Jay played bass on this on a track also and his sister Carolyn sings on this also and with SD. The Leonhart family are all amazing musicians. Their uncle Bil passed this year and was also an amazing player, brilliant, lovely man and a good friend. Love this album so much. A masterpiece, yet again.

Well, that was fucking awesome. Love Donald’s reaction to Steely Shodan. Thanks for uploading. Great picture of Fagen…apparently accessorized by a Negroni.

Steely Dan and Donald Fagan has been such an inspiration to me. Such great music. Just listened to Nightfly again after a long time. Great record. I would like him to listen to my recent song Somewhere Near A Beach. In fact, I just made a music video for it on my channel in case anyone is interested and may have a few minutes to spare.

Great stuff! Maybe you should add Leo Sidran's interview with Donald. It's an episode in Leo's The Third Story Podcast. Great interview too!

The more DF interviews I listen to, the less it seems that his reputation as cranky and difficult to work with holds up. It's like the worst light he's ever been shown in is in the Dukes 2012 tour diary - BY himself.
