David talking on NPR about his long admiration of Steely Dan & how this collaboration came about when he met Donald. Pretty funny story.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cyRuQAtfQZg

Rest in Peace David Crosby. One of the best ever.

"who's better than steely dan? nobody."

I was at this show at the Beacon with my two grown sons. Donald started talking about how they were trying out a new California guitar play. When he called Crosby to the stage the whole place erupted for several minutes before they could start this kick ass version of Wooden Ships. My sons loved it too. Crosby came back out at the end of the show for the encore.

This version is a great blend of Steely Dan sensibilities, complete with horn section, with one of the more Steely-esque CSN songs...A match made in music heaven. Wooden Ships is the one of best CSN songs...

David personified American freedom as no other did.

David Crosby with Steely Dan, the voice, the arrangements, drums, bass, keys, horns and guitars are just excellent. Honey for our ears and for our souls!

One of my all time favorite songs. I was a teenager when this came out and CSN defined my generation.✌️♥️☮️♥️

This is why I love YouTube.
I hate it in many ways (shadow-banned and all), but this right here is why I love it!

Crosby and Fagen…both geniuses!!

My favourite band and favourite singer/songwriter together playing one of my top ten favourite songs.  Goosebumps.

Sublime... There was a time. A dream. Some of us carry it in our hearts still. Thanks, Croz, Donald, et al...

Was there from Australia - just to see Steely was awesome but also David Crosby was like I’d died and gone to heaven. Thank you for the audio.

Wonderful version, very crisp. And Crosby's voice strong as ever.

A thing of beauty is a joy foever.

The only thing that would make this better is the video

JEEZUZ KEEYRIST I didn't think this song could get any better!!!

First time I heard this version... what a treat!!! Talk about the BEST backing Band, EVER!!! Love it...

The best and the greatest anti-war song ever. R.I.P. David Crosby , we never forget you.

Steely Dan perfection with David's masterful voice
