Hippos aren’t fat which is terrifying. They are muscle. They don’t swim they run on the bottom of the water

Fun Fact: Gympie is the local Aboriginal word for "Pain", so it's called the "Pain-Pain bush". You have to say it twice to emphasize just how bad it truly is.

I love the thumbnails of you hanging out with MoreParz and Casual Geographic. They always look so good! And your reactions to the various atrocities that are Australia's flora and fauna are so extremely relatable!

Fun fact about the Gympie Gympie, you can't burn it to get rid of it. Since those needles are made of silicone and are as light as fiberglass, if you burn the plant, the tiny needles can get into your eyes, nose, ears and throat, or be carried by the wind.

01:35 - a Hippogryph is a fantasy beast that's half eagle & half horse, supposedly the result of a male Gryphon (fantasy beast with the head & wings of an eagle on the body of a lion) mating with a female horse (even though Gryphons normally hunt & eat horses).

"Hippo" is the Greek word for horse, thus "hippopotamus" translates to "river horse" or "horse of the river" in Greek (because these animals mainly eat grass and can run nearly as fast as horses despite their bulk, which is actually mostly muscle).

Also Moo Deng is a Pygmy hippo so she’s not gonna get that big. Which is a stark contrast to the regular hippo

The commissioned art thumbnails are really cool

2:43 worst part is that hippos will occasionally eat meat and also they don't care if you're a carnivore, omnivore, or herbivore as they will merk you on the spot, also 5:09 happy to see baragon mentioned he's one of my favorite kaiju and i have a T-shirt of him

8:35 male elephant seals are massive and they will fight each other over territory and females which fun fact about these seals they got their name because of the nose only found on males that resembles an elephants trunk

I don't know about koalas, but pandas are actually pretty smart. They can invent random games that they like to play with one another. Granted, they're simple games, like moving things around or climbing and jumping, but still
