This was a friendly game. Spain weren’t that motivated they’ve just won the World Cup and they still won. Spain are playing away from home not motivated and still won handy enough. Ferran torres could’ve had a hat trick and yamal should’ve scored as well.

Regarding the argument that City shouldn't be stripped of their trophies because they won them fair and square on the pitch. Suppose I run a financial scam which defrauds my investors of $10M. I finally get convicted of fraud 10 years later. During those ten years I invested the money legitimately and now have $20M in stocks, real estate, businesses, and other legitimate investments plus a few nice homes, fancy cars, and all the material goods that wealth can bring. Going forward I'm facing jail time. But I argue that I shouldn't have my assets, wealth, homes, cars, etc. taken away from me because I earned those by legitimate, legal investments. Does anyone think that's ok?! No because that wealth was amassed with money that was obtained via a criminal enterprise. City won on the pitch because the financial doping enabled them to attract players, coaches, and executive staff that otherwise never would have come to them. Sure they "won on the pitch" but without the financial doping they wouldn't have been able to assemble those teams in the first place.

I love Julien Laurens. He is SO informative, analytical and generally, unbiased. I have always watched a lot of football, but he has the ability to change my mind uncertain situations as his insight is so sound

The most important outcome have to be City owners are deemed not fit for ownership. When an owner actively work against the league spirit, as City owners have, the only reasonable outcome is that they can not own a Premier League Club again.

Daniel having a pop at Palmer (a player suffering with a chronic injury for over a year) for pulling out of the England squad and then highlighting the amount of players already getting injured over the break was quite funny

30:19 Crazy how someone who used to cover Italian football is so badly informed about it. Inter were only gifted one of those leagues, after coming 3rd, as Milan (and others) were also punished. More importantly, Inter were doing the same things or even worse than Juve, as revealed in later investigations by the Italian FA, but they hid the evidence until the statute of limitations passed and they couldn't be punished.

26:11 absolute nonsense. Leicester, Everton and Forest had their sanctions applied whilst appeal was ongoing and it was adjusted where appeal was successful to some extent. And Leicester’s had their appeal expedited before the new season begun.
