Today was one of those days where a little bit of everything found its way into our lives. Sonia and I took on a brand-new challenge together as we tried our hand at crocheting, while Craig and I sat down for a much longer conversation about responsibility, choices, and what happens when the things we want suddenly become a little more important than they were before.
Then it was off to Highgate to pick up more school books for Dave as we continue getting the boys ready for another year of learning.
And just when we thought the day was winding down, Andre came rolling through for some homework, a little chicken help, and—of course—a serious game of Connect Four. 😂
From crochet struggles to family conversations, school books, chickens, homework and a little friendly competition, this was another very ordinary… and very full… day in our Jamaican life.
Life is good… and all is well. ❤️🇯🇲

Pls stuck to ur guns & don't give in to him as he knows what is doing...! He's living the life of Riley...sure thousands of kids in jamai a would love to be in his position, ean comfortable home, food, love, etc, etc...!
We will see how badly he wants that phone, or improve himself.

understand where he fail
to step up to grow with
the others in education.
I feel this is a learning and
teaching moment for him.
I would not let him have the
phone now. He needs to
focus on doing classes
while he is out of school.
Have evening tutoring with
you next summer he could
gain the respect and
appreciation for earning it.
We all have to adapt and
contribute to how we grow
and achieve what we have
in life. He must understand
just because you want
something does not mean
you need it now. Amazing!

Considering their back ground, more appreciation should be shown...!
I suggest he be given the work, the other guys were given, the schedule of which, be patterned like a regular school day. He should also complete his regular daily chores. He should not be allowed to leave the premises until everything is completed. If he waits to complete at 9:00pm then he doesn’t leave the premises that day.
Added to all of this, you should also insist, he write that business plan.
