After watching this, I'd like to think that the reason most of Earth's population died during the invasion is because they only had access to that pistol.

Ok now i understand why they removed it. it took forever just to clear 1 mission.

I think the design is pretty cool and they clearly put some thought into making it cool and fun to use, but I think ultimately it was the right call to exclude it. The weapon choices are already very well rounded.

as terrible as the shooting seems it does look pretty clean tho

lovee the design of this weapon, but putting it in the weapon arsenal people just wont use it

Maybe a cool idea for the pistol is that it could've been a weapon Doom Slayer uses as a last resort when he doesn't have any ammo for his other weapons and he doesn't have fuel for the chainsaw. It has infinite ammo but the damage is terrible.

Even then the way the game is structured where you balance each weapons ammo and chainsawing is perfect.

Theoretically you could finish the entire game by only using ur fists it would just take so long and so many attempts

Gotta love how Id realized the amount of crack they put into Eternal compared to 2016 and decided "maybe we don't need the pistol anymore..."

Notice how he puts "Fuck Doom Eternal" in the console.

This would be even better if it were a dual wielded weapon. One in each hand.

Man, I see you all the time in Under the Mayo's and Hmmmp's comment section I was actually happy to find a video of yours.

If people had access to a burst fire/rapid semi auto pistol like that they would not be forced to interact with the gun-mod to weak point mechanics of the game, which is necessary for later arenas and the pistol would likely not be a part of that.

I think zero master can complete altra nightmare with this

Doom Wick

still waiting for a glory kill

I want to know if they did decided to keep the pistol I wonder what weapon mods would they implement.

since when eternal added a pistol there's none in the game

Yeah this pistol isn’t as good as the shotgun but it isn’t even that bad lol

I like pistols, but I hope you didn't attempt the whole game with only the pistol 😅. That's suicide for boss fights, and let's be honest John Wick only killed humans not an army of nearly immortal demons with his pistols 😂.

You're crazy😂
