The Norwegian royal family gathered in Oslo today (09/23/26) to say goodbye to Princess Astrid. The princess passed away at age 94, just days after her younger brother King Harald’s funeral. (Her final public appearance was at the funeral.)
Those in attendance this morning included Norway’s Queen Sonja, King Haakon, Queen Mette-Marit, and Crown Princess Ingrid Alexandra. In addition, royals from around Europe traveled to the funeral, including Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden and Princess Astrid of Belgium.
