Ed Edd n Eddy despite all the cartoon shenanigans and craziness still keep everything to a somewhat grounded level and that can be highlighted in the movie. It’s just “what if Ed Edd n Eddy was longer and had a bigger scope”

Remember that episode with Ed’s imaginary friend “Jib”?
Jib was beating Eddy so badly he was screaming Uncle.   I think Eddy was having flashbacks of his brother

This show got the whole "6 seasons & a movie" treatment and what a hell of a way to go!

The entire series for Ed, Edd, and Eddie hinted what kind of person Eddie's brother was. It was the visuals and context rather than outright statements. The final reveal was expected but also insane that the only new character ever added was this legend you kept hearing about and it was done during a finale.

The older i get, the more i realize that not just the Big Picture Show, but Ed, Edd, and Eddy as a whole was a miracle and not the standard

Big Picture Show is the textbook definition of how you should end your show.

Big Picture Show is one of the all time greats, and I have no idea what Casagrass is.

I think Ed Edd n Eddy might have arguably the best and most satisfying finale a cartoon has ever had to this day. Like, I think the closest we've ever gotten was Gravity Falls, but that show had a 2 season run compared to the Eds going on for 6.

The Mystery Scam was like the briefcase from Pulp Fiction like no one knows what was going on before all of it gone south

I will now quote “MEXICO 800 YEARS AGI”

Still pissed that big picture show does not have a dvd or bluray

Don't know what genre Foster's Home would be considered, but I feel like that's another one that had a great TV movie

My favorite thing about this movie is the fact we actually see another character that isn’t the main cast (no, the arms of the parents don’t count shush). The dramatic pause before it cuts to Eddy’s brother really hit that, yeah, this other person actually exists. Made his presence even more impactful then it already was.

Can we appreciate the fact that this man sat through the entire Casagrandes movie just for this one video?

Ed, Edd n Eddy ended perfectly. It wrapped up in just the right way with all the heart, humor and adventure it needed for a series of its scale and quality. It is one of the reasons I will always love the show to death and consider The Big Picture Show one of the greatest sources of comfort in the dark times of CN Real and middle school. Thank you, Antanucci. Thank you.

I think the best part is how they not only stick to the core personalities of the Ed Edd n Eddy cast with Big Picture Show, but we also see all the characters in new scenarios which expand their characterizations even more: Eddy admits to his mistakes and cries. Double D (justifiably) attacks Eddy. Nazz is very proactive as she and Kevin search for the Eds. Jimmy and Sarah are kept under the Kankers' thumbs; and so on. Good stuff. Terrific finale to my favorite show of all time.

I really love the Ed Edd n Eddy movie so much,  it makes me very happy seeing the Edd’s finally get accepted by their cul-de-sac and learning the true relationship between Eddy and his brother.😺

The Beavis and Butthead movie did the whole "grandiose TV movie about a show about basically nothing" in the BEST way possible. You know why? They basically had those two dorks walk into the wrong movie and it was hilarious

This film was absolutely written by people who understood what the fans wanted. Aside from the swamp fight and Eddy's brother, it also features characters like Kevin and Sarah, people who fans had been dying to see get their comeuppance, finally humbled. Sarah in particular is really thoroughly humiliated by being given a wet willy by the Kankers and forced to be their pack mule.
It's as if the writers were speaking directly to the audience with that one.

Big Picture Show was so validating as an Ed fan because something the show doesn't get enough credit for was its linear continuity. Sure the show was episodic and you can watch any episode out of order but if you do watch the show in order, they reference previous episodes all the time and Big Picture Show does the same thing that feel like natural callbacks instead of "member dis"? Also that bit at the end is so damn true, they need to get the movie and specials on streaming immediately. Ed Edd N Eddy is and will forever be the GOAT.
