Coach is my all time favorite brand. Their outlet bags are more affordable, and years ago, as a single mom, I took advantage of the prices. Years later, I still have many of those outlet bags, still in great shape. Today, I shop at LV, but I also shop at Coach. It is nice that we have bags at different price ranges, where good quality can be found even for the moderately priced bags. Everyone can play. ❤

I never thought mulberry and coach where on the same level , think mulberry is a much higher standard and price point , well at least here in Australia mulberry is considered luxury, but as you said buy what you love

I have had many coach bags and have switched over to Mulberry. There were things about coach that drove me nuts, like the bags not properly lining up to close. When I tried my first mulberry I didn’t have that problem, the quality of the craftsmanship immediately drew me in

At the beginning of the video, the way you described Coach vs Mulberry, is the opposite of how people feel in the US. I never heard of Mulberry until a couple of years ago. When I was a young adult in the early 1990s, I desperately wanted a Dooney & Bourke bag or a Coach bag. That was the pinnacle of success for me

I felt the same way about coach the way you did about mulberry coming out of college. My mom bought me one when I passed the bar exam. Wish I had kept it. Vintage coach is gorgeous!

Love Mulberry. Their leather is fab. They're hardworking bags. I had one for more than ten years and it was great. You could barely see any wear and tear and I was using it everyday. I bought all black Alexa this winter on sale and so far no problems with it.
I've never had Coach as I don't like their aesthetics.

Coach is my Mulberry. It was my first ever "fancy" bag (It's plain black leather, very soft, and I still love it.) that my grandmother got me for Christmas the year I was 13. I've been snoozing on Mulberry, but I can see how you're annoyed. That whole scene was ridonkulous. <3 you!

American here. I'm not really drawn to contemporary Coach styles, but i do think that the quality is there. I collect vintage, pre Y2K Coach bags. The e keather is so wonderful and the bags are fun to rehab. I wish that I had experience with Mulberry. The bag you took back was gorgeous!! Such a shame. Enjoy your vids!

I really liked coach 15yrs ago, but the styles haven’t really caught my eye since then. But I still think it’s a great brand.

Good advice! Do you. Buy what you like, and love what you buy! Seems simple, but sometimes hard to follow!

I don't get the vibe that you "hate Coach" or anything else. I think Coach is an aspirational brand for US, and Mulberry for UK. It sounds as though young US folks (myself included) aspired to Coach bags. We hadn't/haven't heard about Mulberry as much if at all, and vice versa. I had heard of Mulberry, but only because I was paying a lot attention to all kinds of bag brands. Coach was what I wanted, though.

I realized I really missed my Coach pieces, so I switched into a 2007 Coach piece of mine this week. Dare I say it, but I absolutely feel that the quality is equivalent to any of my LV bags. I don't own any of the other luxury brands to compare it to.

I hope you ultimately end up with the Mulberry you really love despite the issues thus far. Paris first! ☺

I love ❤️ Coach vintage bags and lately some new Coach bag designs are so special, just bought the suede East West. Coach is a nice filler for me to purchase in between buying Louis Vuitton bags !😊

I was never a Coach fan, but then they launched the Empire and I bought one. I have since also bought the Western Tabby and fell in love. I think Coach has some 'lifetime' type bags, but they also have a lot of bags I would never buy. I do think they have a good price point for the quality they put out. I think high end designers have had quality dips and price increases that I cannot get on board with.

They have just launched the empire 34 with the normal leather , the maple is gorgeous

I also bought a Mulberry planner, which I still use and love today. However, I now design my own Mulberry, and I've also replaced the ring binder mechanism with a disk. We have founder Roger Saul to thank for these great products. Louis Vuitton can only dream of the quality of his products.

Hi Deb! Wishing you the best on your Paris trip. So lucky to have gotten a sneak peek of the LV Express PM in grey and I really like the monogram on grey leather combo. Gives me slouchy Speedy P9 meets City Keepall vibes. 😉

Love, love, love the monogram lining inside the bag and the canvas monogram trim & straps. Easy to wear over the shoulder (rolled handle bit uncomfortable in canvas but will soften with use) or as a crossbody (double straps 👍). Grained leather is durable for daily use. I’d take the Express bag over the Biker bag any day of the week. ❤

Express launches August 1st. Hope that coordinates with your plans. Happy Shopping! 🛍️

I think I would reach out to Customer Service again (they should have a record of your interactions) explain the situation fully and see if you can purchase the bag at the sale price you'd purchased it at originally. I absolutely love the Mini Alexa - it is my current everyday bag.

@latoyaandrews7003 1 year ago

Maybe you should get a turn lock Coach bag. They seem similar to the bag that is sold out.

And btw, John Lewis have discounts (I’ve seen 15% and 20% discounts) on mulberry 2-3 times throughout the year. Those discounts on select styles and colours buy worth keeping an eye out.

I bought my first Mulberry about two years ago, the Bayswater Zip in Sable, and it quickly became my favorite bag. I own several high-end brands like Chanel, Fendi, and Prada, but this one stands out. I carried it almost every day for two years without babying it, and it still looks amazing! The craftsmanship and leather quality are exceptional. A month ago, I added the classic Bayswater in Dark Cherry to my collection, and it’s absolutely stunning! The color is rich and timeless. I love it so much that I just ordered another one in Oak NVT, and I can’t wait for it to arrive. For comparison, I also own the Coach Empire, which is nice, but honestly, Mulberry has completely won me over. There is nothing like putting your hand into a beautiful leather bag that is lined with leather! I look much more for quality than logos at this point in my life!
