I hope you didn't think the music was too purple... O_____O

Mayo: I want puzzles, platforming, and other stuff between combat
Devil May Cry fans: no you don’t

"I wish there was some platforming"
Oh boy, this man does not understand how bad DMC platforming is.

Starting with DMC 5 is like watching Avengers Endgame as your first MCU movie.

says the game needs more platforming

me, who played the other dmc games: no you don't

The fact that you didn't talk about the music in this game is a crime

Under the mayo doesnt like TENTACLES

WATCH MOJO:well well how the turntables!!!!!!!

Mayo just needs a dose of the good ol "Easy mod is now selectable" from dmc 3.

Many of your complaints are ironically the things the fans asked to get rid of. For example, platforming in DMC has always been clunky and annoying to a majority of the playerbase, so people begged the devs to just allow DMC5 to be full gameplay.

It seems what makes DMC great to the fans is what disconnects it more from new players.

i have one objection to this video: Nero's jacket is blue

i never heard purple so many times in a row

You might like 3 the most because you play as Dante for the whole game

Mayo: “I especially liked Dante’s trickster style”
Athyra: silent stare of judgement

>Likes Dante
>Doesn't understand Vergil
> Flooded with PLAY DMC3 ITS THE BEST STORY IN THE SERIES BEST GAME TOO PLAY DMC3 PLAY DMC3
You dig your own grave. And also I hightly recommend playing DMC3.
Also, <Easy mode is now selectable>

Its funny that my lack of skill gave me a completely different experience
I found Devil Hunter difficult because I had to get used to this style of game, as well as memorizing both the combos and the enemies. By the time I got to SoS, I was used to the game and my gameplay was more building my skill while struggling through a solid difficultly. Basically, I was given a tutorial run where I could focus on the story and get a learning curve to overcome, then was given a straight up challenge. Cuz of that, this game was actually amazing for me, and it sucks that you had an experience that was far from that.

“I’ve seen 20 minute video guides on how to defeat one enemy”
Eyyy, shoutout to my boy, Alan Conqvist

Just a lil fun fact for you

Devil may cry 4 is actually a Incomplete game, It did suffer from a Rushed development cycle so it does kinda falter in its story, however unlike most rushed games, DMC 4 manages to Dodge a Bullet but just barely and is still considered a good game, also whats unique about DMC 4 is that due to its rushed development, it ended up with a few hidden Mechanics that are technically bugs but they actually make the combat more fun

Ok so this was a lil more then a Fun fact but honestly I love DMC so I am prone to rambling about it

30:50 Motivated HE SAID THE THING!!!

DMC5 is the only entry in the series that doesn't have platforming... and since it never once improved, I'm thankful it doesn't.
