OMG! Thank you so much!! I’ve been knitting colourwork for more than 50 years and this is the FIRST TIME that making mittens with this kind of pattern has made sense! I’m a self-taught knitter from WAY back with no one to show me much.

HI....if I'm not mistaken, a peasant thumb comes, like magic, seemingly out of nowhere....[no gusset]. Your thumb has a traditional gusset [with increases] so it's not a peasant thumb. Thanks for your tutorial.
