Pray with us in this PRAYER CAMPAIGN: "3 Minutes for Vocations."
There are many holy vocations, but also those that scandalize and do not live Jesus' call well. What should we do? We must pray for the holiness and fidelity of every baptized person.
All baptized faithful have a universal vocation to holiness, and according to their state, they live a specific vocation (clergy, religious, and laity).
Pray with us and share this prayer campaign for vocations!
CHURCH IN THE BACKGROUND of this recording: St. Francis Xavier Church in New York (USA).
Below is the prayer text for this video:
PRAYER FOR PRIESTS (Bishops and priests)
O Jesus, Eternal High Priest, keep your priests under the protection of Your Most Loving Heart, where nothing bad can befall them. Keep their hearts, sealed with the sublime character of Your Glorious Priesthood, pure and detached from the goods of this earth.
Make us believe in their love and fidelity to You and preserve them from the contagion of the world. Grant them, along with the power they have to transubstantiate bread and wine into Your Body and Blood, the power to transform the hearts of men. Bless their labors with abundant fruits and grant them one day the crown of eternal life. Amen!
(Author of the Prayer: Saint Thérèse of the Child Jesus)
