Pray with us in this PRAYER CAMPAIGN: “3 Minutes for Vocations”.
There are many holy vocations, but also those that scandalize and do not live Jesus’ calling well. What should we do? We must pray for the holiness and fidelity of each baptized person.
All baptized faithful have the universal vocation to Holiness, and according to the state of each one they live a specific vocation (clergy, religious and laity).
Pray with us and share this prayer campaign for vocations!
CHURCH IN THE BACKGROUND of this recording: Church of Saint Francis Xavier in New York (USA).

PRAYER FOR THE LAITY
O Lord Jesus Christ, I implore your heart full of love to look upon all the baptized faithful who live their vocation as lay people. Preserve them from the dangers that surround them. Protect them from evil, and kindle in their hearts the flame of divine charity. That your lay faithful may be filled with love, compassion and mercy, and may serve you and their brothers and sisters for the sake of Christ.
May your blessing always be with them, so that they may flee from all that is displeasing to God and avoid opportunities for sin. May they continue happily and strengthened on the path of hope, faith and charity. May they be prudent in their decisions, just in their actions, temperate in their conduct and strong in tribulations. O Most Holy Mary, Mother and Queen of all the lay faithful, turn your maternal gaze and grant them the rich graces of your Son Jesus Christ, Our Lord. Amen.
