Glados is so cutiepie

Oh fiddlesticks, what now?

So… Portal 2 Beta is just Portal 1 but with Kleiner being constantly confused?

I feel bad on how this dude was forced 1 hour of Kleiner saying “Oh fiddlesticks”.

It’s pretty interesting how this build seemingly marks an active point in which the devs were updating the sequel’s graphics, with some test chambers looking more like the sleek and modern ones we see in the final game and others staying true to the OG first game’s dingy look. Cool to look at as someone who enjoys the art direction of both

Oh wow so the joke in portal 2 glados makes about remembering what she said in slow motion came from this. Where you have to actually slow time to understand her

While I can see it being confusing, I like the idea of some chambers being unsolvable (in the in-universe intended way) and requiring you to steal cubes and such from backstage areas

mere days after the 2009 beta remake guys released their stuff

28:05 NO GLADOS YOURE NOT AN ANIMAL CROSSING CHARACTER

Crazy we just saw footage of this starting before and now we have the whole thing

"I wanna go the aquarium!!!" 🗣️🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯

The title screen is freaky

I love portal 2 it’s so portal…but two!!!!

it's funny how this feels like some steam workshop map

15:37 YES i love this voice line and now i get to hear all of it

3:15 ambient_generic my beloved

dark and gritty

Its wild how one moment you have a map thats from the released game, and the next you are in a behind the scenes area avoiding pistons. Such a big intersection of original and new gameplay

Wow, the big portals are cool. Out of all the old concepts, I don't think we ever heard of those being in the beta.
