Oh hey, its the video where Marblr decided he was Vsauce.

This is the kind of "lost plot" needed to complete a 1500 word paper.

Marblr is reaching the status of jumping from A to B when making arguments like Game Theory. He'll be talking about the invention of time measurement in the B.C. era, and then explain how it relates to Five Nights at Freddy's

Flats never played Portal 1 or 2. He played Portal 2 COOP only.

Petition for Flats to replay Portal 1 and 2

Marblr just seamlessly going from a gaming video to a history lesson is so fascinating

flats: WHERE ARE WE GOING??!?
me: hold up, let him cook

Just incase chat didn't clear it up Portal 2 co-op is completely different from Portal 2 solo. So he technically didn't play what people consider Portal 2 either. The co-op is like a bonus thing. As some others already commented, a portal 1 and 2 playthrough could be a good watch.

The Vsauce vibes on his ending

19 minutes in and i'm with flats, where the heck are we going lmao

When it comes to the two clocks being in sync, he specifically states the centisecond and millisecond parts were in sync, not necessarily the seconds, as they are controlled by two different systems.

Also the Co-op campaign in Portal 2 is separate from the actual main game plot, so you actually haven't played Portal 1 or Portal 2, only Portal 2's Co-op campaign.

I learned in my computer architecture class that spaghetti code actually originates from assembly language. It describes code which jumps all over the place and is really hard to follow. The example with the timer is actually very accurate.

I work in sw development. These kind of solutions are stuffed into literally every software. Always lovely to find them and trying to figure out the logic behind them, as long as I'm not actively working in the codebase.

The Marble Blast: Platinum music in the background takes me back.

This video feels like an april fools joke

Started watching a portal video, ended up getting a history lesson, math lesson, language lesson and law lesson… and people say video games aren’t educational!

This video feels like any time I talk about anything I'm interested in, it just starts going off in branching directions and things I want to talk about until we go from talking about a how cool turtles are to explaining that facts can never actually be known to be true for certain and that we don't see in 3 dimensions and are incapable of comprehending what that would look like

IIRC, the ending cutscene for Portal 1 got changed when Portal 2 released.

10:57 You're a warframe player now, get ready for it to be the number one phrase in your vocabulary. We tenno like to call the game Bugframe. Lots of bugs, including many that we rely on. Spaghetti code leads to a lot of damage calculations being SUPER weird, like random abilities being able to trigger things that trigger off of melee damage, or a certain late game thing having exponential scaling
