There is nothing better than having the whole family together.

You may find some old nails on the flooring or ceiling, check if it's square or round,  square nails stopped being produced about 1880 - 1890. Save those Wooden Bow Saws, they cut very well, like a manual bandsaw. I'm Curious abount those curved things with rope.

They make work boots for a really good reason !!!!!!!!! 😊

Looks like a job for gallons and gallons of wood hardener. Thanks!😎

Hi, great project and nice old tools! The wooden bows were used to carry hay to the farm. They are  called hay bows, or höbågar in Swedish.

I think that roof what u got there is an AZBESTOS or ASBESTOS Roof which should be removed by some company who got proper papers to remove it.

The banter between you guys is adorable.

Those old tools are great!! I think with one of those you can get the dried corn off. The one with the crank.

lololol your mom is cracking me up

I used Google lens to look for those curved wooden frames with rope and it took me straight to a Swedish museum website featuring höbåge that look nearly identical to yours!  So they are "hay bows" that they stacked hay on, clamped it in between the two sides, and were able to transport hay more easily. The museum acquired most of their collection of them in the mid-1930s, so even by that year they were considered museum-worthy!

I recently watched a young man and his dad, raise a cabin using car jacks and then rebuilding a stone base before cementing it
