An absolute GEM of American history!! What a shame Disneyland isn't like this today.. would have been nice to see it preserved in all it's original glory.

I'm glad they had the technology to document all this. Very nostalgic.

I’ve been going to Disneyland  2012. I was 11 years old and now I am 25. I will be 26 in July.

i was today years old when i found out freeways were called that because they have no tolls... mind blown

"The Indian Village is a permanent and popular attraction here"....Apparently NOT permanent... ;)

If I could go back in time, I would want to go back to the Future.

People love to complain. Just enjoy.

Look at all the orange trees. You’d be lucky to find one left in that town.

major disney fan

always c the opening to this makes me cry

Art Linkletter was broadcasting this show on his 43rd birthday...

Thank you for this compilation of treasures! It was a joy to enjoy!

I enjoy all the old tv commercials you do for the 90s. You don’t suppose you could add old tv commercials on the 50s, 60s and 70s?

We don't taught in history books. But in documentary yes.

Both Steve Jobs & Bill Gates were born the same year that Disneyland first opened: 1955.  It was also the same year that Albert Einstein passed away.

I just watched the house of the future with everything being plastic. Interesting when the real future is realizing how bad plastic is for the earth. Love these videos about the beginning of Disneyland. I'm glad they exist. And I'm glad I grew up in Los Angeles with Disneyland in our backyard. How time flies. I just turned 60!

it was call black sunday opening day was a nightmare

Was the original footage that blurry ?

On the Disneyland billboard sign, it said closed on Mondays, 12 minutes into the video
