I am retired and alone, so I sold it all and l live in my built in cargo van. You have NO IDEA how excited I am to present this at one of our camp dinners, because WE LIVE LASAGNA!

It’s refreshing to see someone cook in the kitchen like we all do at home , meaning she uses her own hands, not black gloves, hair just pulled back naturally, etc. People are so obsessed with enforcing restaurant hygiene standards on home cooks. We all grew up with grammas and moms who had a clean kitchen but who just cooked all day as a natural activity, not a health department one. Who else closes the oven door with their foot😅

Just found you.. we ..my hubby and I have been married 62 years and raised 4 healthy sons…just so ya know, I was a great cook…lol… BUT,.. I am sick of cooking at 82,.. he helps at 85… but remember us,…love these recipes…my lasagna is awesome lotta beer in the long cook sauce,.. but my boys need to be coming home for me to do it…so this one looks like a winner for us…don’t forget us superseniors,.. not lazy, just tired of cooking, but still like good food😉

When I make lasagna using ground beef, I've found that adding some ground fennel seeds and a little red pepper flakes gives the meat a hint of Italian sausage flavor.

2 minutes in and I already LOVE this video! This is the way most of us cook most of the time. I’m so sick of cooking videos (and craft videos too!) that say they’re “easy” or “lazy” but require more time, energy, ingredients and tools than I have!! I have no problem with fancy or complicated recipes, just don’t label them easy!!

🍔 Reporting- in on that "Big Mac Casserole" 🍔

Made it tonight, only subbing tater-tots for the hashbrown patties, and I'm here to tell everyone... it not only scratches the Big Mac itch at a fraction of the price, but the "special sauce" was absolutely spot-on, and even the pickiest of eaters in our family went back for seconds. My only regret is not having leftovers for tomorrow. "Big Mac Casserole" is an easy 10 out of 10, and shall be made again soon. SOON.

Nicole I love when you make comments like "this could feed your whole family" or "my kids would love this" etc. It reminds me of my mom and how she was always thinking about whether or not my brother and I were fed and if we had enough. I can tell your family means a lot to you and I appreciate that you bring a bit of them to your videos
