■ The World's Strongest, the SSU Sea Salvage & Rescue Unit!
When the Cheonan sank, when the Seongsu Bridge collapsed, and when a ferry sank in the West Sea, these men risked their lives in the fearsome depths of the deep waters, performing rescue and recovery operations. These men are known collectively as the SSU (Sea Salvage & Rescue Unit). Their saturation diving skills, utilizing a special gas, are recognized in the Guinness Book of World Records with an official record of 150 meters, making them truly the world's best. To train personnel capable of working in extreme conditions, a rigorous selection process is essential. Over 200 people applied for the 2012 SSU recruitment, but only 95 were selected through physical fitness, swimming, and interview tests to begin their first training session. Will they be able to endure to the end?
■ 12 Weeks of Hell Beyond Imagination Begin!
To become an SSU member, regardless of rank, enlisted, non-commissioned, or officer, all must complete 12 weeks of basic training. This training, centered around the waters off Jinhae, Changwon, Gyeongsangnam-do, consists of basic physical training, ocean swimming, SCUBA, and lifeguarding. Trainees must run along a 20-kilometer stretch of coastline, then return to the ocean 6 kilometers from land, completely naked. They eat with their underwater masks filled with water, and then continue their march, still wearing their military gear. Although the training is 100% voluntary, approximately 40% of the participants give up midway through, demonstrating the rigorous nature of the training. The tears of the dropouts and the joy of the survivors are a thrilling drama in themselves.
※ This video is from [Wednesday Project - Hellish Training, 82 Days of Record - SSU Marine Rescue Team], which aired on September 5, 2012.

이제는 서른 중반 사회 나와 생활하다보니 이런 저런 풍파가 많이 생기네요^^;;
