In 2013, 164 new cadets were selected for the Naval Academy, breaking through the highest competition rates in history (25:1 for men and 65:1 for women).
We cover the period before entry, the five weeks of grueling training, and cadet life, vividly documenting the tearful process of a frail girl being reborn as an officer.
Through this, we aim to offer a small measure of strength to the many young people wandering due to a "loss of purpose" and "weakness."
Will Hyun-ju, a model student who never missed ranking first in her class from elementary through high school, be able to hold on as the top student at the Naval Academy as well?
