i have the Sony A6700 and this is my favorite lens from all that i own, its great for wildlife, landscapes and it is even fantastic for close up shots of flowers and bugs and even some portraits

It's VERY sharp! Thanks for the great review! I enjoyed it.

Very good review and the good humor made it better.  Thank you.

Top of the line review of this unique APS-C gem of a lens. 10/10! 👌

Man you're amazing at this! Love that old school expertise. Thanks for sharing. Pay attention, YouTube! This guy's good.

Had this lens since SONY released it, on my A6400 and its been amazing. Taken some amazing photos with that set-up despite owning 2 FF SONY and all the trimmings.   It’s a very competent lens to this day even several years out from its intro.

so satisfying when looking somebody works.Weird !!!  i cant satisfied with my own work😂😂😂.your image work are so inspiring

Epic lens! Just picked one up Mint with box and all for 630 😊

I got this beast for $500 on Ebay and its been amazing.  I had the Tamron 150-500 but never really took it out because it was just too big.  I can fit this in my sling bag with the Sigma 18-50, and Tamron 11-20 and its a great all around kit.

Was thinking of Tamron 150-500 (heavy) or the new 70-200 f4 (short), but in the end went for the 70-350 today! $600 new from china

Ich bin doch sehr froh ein gutes gebrauchtes gekauft zu haben. Ich habe dazu noch eine Stativhalterung erhalten.

Nice review. Still tops in 2026 (with Sony A6XXX)?

Minute 5:26 says the camera but should say the lens.

G stands for Gold! fyi!

Thanks for your review! Would you pick this lens or the Tamron 50-300mm (for an APS-C camera)?

So if a camera has ibis the oss doesn't matter?
As u said it doesn't contribute more to it

This or the Sigma 16-300mm for the A6700, which one should I got for? yeah I know the Sigma got the wider focal length but, other than that, what else should make me want to pick one over the other?

Great presentation! What about video? is it stable enough when camera is moving?

What about the tamron 50-300mm diii vs the one in the video

I have the a6300 with the 16-50 mm kit lens will this be a great upgrade for wildlife and nature?
