Resident Evil 2
Silent Hill 2

Final Fantasy Theatrhythm All Star Carnival
Shadow Hearts: From The New World
Ancient Roman Soundtrack CD
Super Thespian Animal RPG (i'm scared putting the actual name in a description will trip some sort of youtube filter lol)

i think the weirdest part of it all is that there isn't actually even a final sword in Final Sword. what's up with that

The dialogue at 31:58 is great

"Thou art the legendary warrior who comes once every hundred years!"
"haha no way"

Even when its not a Ps1 game, punchy is reviewing something that looks like a PS1 game

24:00 this translation is hilarious, but to shed a bit more light on it: it seems to be a direct translation of some variation the sentence “결혼은 어려울 것 같아“ which essentially means “Marriage isn’t realistic/feasible” but uses the korean word “어려워” which literally means difficult but in this context would be used to say that the act of getting married would be difficult, not that marriage itself is difficult (though as punchy said, it is i suppose)

That death scream for some reason feels like the audio equivalent of The Man Who Was Outrageously Blown Away, to me.

31:55 "Hahaha.. no way" is the most relatable response to being told you are the legendary hero tbh. That's probably what I would say.

Hey, don't think I haven't noticed the Ancient Roman soundtrack sneaking in...

"Haha.. No way."

Fucking 10/10, no notes, absolute cinema

I don't think Gene King is the king of the Genes. I think that might just be his full legal name.

When you say "fake" I really find these graphics reminiscent of all of the weird offshoot MMO's of the late 2000's and early 2010's.

This isn't even "We have Souls-like at home."

This is "I stepped on a souls-like on my way home in some slush."

I truly adore the "just some guy"-ness of the protag. He looks like the guy who bags my groceries after a day of not showering.

Good lord these freeze worms got me angry and I'm not even the one playing.

The "mega dark ball of destruction" reference was appreciated. Also that Gargoyle was called a "Gagoyle", which gives me an unpleasant feeling

I assume it's because they're flipped assets but those slimes are easily the least slime-like slimes I've ever seen in a video game. They look more like vegetables somehow.
