The debut of Gandora the Dragon of Destruction was so cool and it was an iconic Yugi moment

I do love that Bakura almost always goes for alternative win conditions besides just reducing his opponents life points.  Like with destiny board and his deck destruction  strategy here. But i am still upset he never got a major win in the show.

Heck, i just realized his only on screen win against Bonez, he won with burn damage.

So basically Bakura is that guy who figures out really cool strategies, but blunders so much he loses anyway

Silent Swordsman: Can you believe he would use the opponents spell on me willingly?!
Dark Magician: recalling what Atem did with the Seal of Orichalcos That's rough buddy

The real villain of season 5 was the executive that cut the animation budget. Between the ugly character models and muted colors it’s a tragedy

Gotta say...
Bakuras duels were always the most entertaining to watch in DM. He employed strategy, and used both the field and graveyard in interesting ways rather than just relying on "big monster go brrrr".
He sacrificed his cards, went for alt-wins, used graveyard effects, used floodgates (as every evil person should), and generally had a blast employing his evil tactics.
It was a lot of fun watching him ham it up on screen, laughing about how everything was according to his plan and how people had played right into his hands.

Note: During Bakura and Yugi duel in the manga we see one of the most disturbing images as the duel disk, literally, forms from their human flesh

Little Yugi dueling against Yami Bakura was the hypest thing I ever saw because for the first time Yugi was able to show that he was fully able to stay on his own 2 feet without Atem.

I love my headcanon with Bakura and Kaiba 's duel that he only interrupted and left the duel when he realized what time it was and had to run to the airport to catch his flight to Egypt. Like "damn it's that time already, sorry Kaiba got to go, have a plane to catch to Egypt and if I don't go now the traffic will make me late. Take this eye though it might help you this season".

30:00 I think what Bakura means is that there would've been one more monster on the field for his Counterbalance, so Yugi would've milled one more card, leaving him with zero after the jar attacks the magician

1:19 The Crimson Chin would be happy.

30:06
"Draw your last pathetic card, Yugi!"
Famous last words xD

Can we talk about how awesome yami bakura looks in the black coat?

Always loved the smile on Yugi’s face when he draws that final card like he knows exactly how it will play out

10:39 It makes sense for Kaiba to play cautiously here.  In an era where Mirror Force would lose him the duel by overcommitting, he had to.  Yes, we know that Bakura doesn't run that card, but that's because we have hindsight on our side.  Kaiba must play against his opponent, as though they could have added the card to their deck, at some point between encounters (especially because Bakura's deck always changes drastically).  If he didn't play cautiously, went all out with Monster Reborn, and Bakura had Mirror Force (Torrential Tribute, or really any other way to remove both his dragons, with the 2 face-downs he had), he would have thrown the duel.

I'd like to add something. Yugi's key monsters in duel with Bakura and Atem being Silent Swordsman and Silent Magician are representative of Yugi being the silent duelist to the world while being with Atem as well as being mirrors of both Dark Magician and Buster Blader.

Yami Bakura really like going for alternative win conditions.  Wish we had characters from later series doing that

25:33 Animator: "And then he will raise the roof...menacingly"

And we’re done with the Millennium World arc…
Yep, only 3 proper duels lol
