For sale: superb and extremely rare 1986 Wanderlodge PT38. This American motorhome is a real head-turner, inside and out. Built like a tank, as the brochure said at the time, it's entirely made of galvanized steel with aircraft rivets—a work of art, costing half a million dollars new in 1986.
It has been modernized with numerous modern features and amenities (see list). This motorhome was ahead of its time in terms of comfort, with features like electric blinds, a built-in shower, and a spacious interior, to name just a few. It runs perfectly, it's magnificent, and many parts are new.
We are only the fourth owners.
Extremely rare on the market, Bluebird Wanderlodge PTs are true collector's items. Almost completely rebuilt, it also received a $20,000 paint job and $130,000 worth of restoration work over the last four years.
