Thanks Andrew for fulfilling my request on the Cooey shotgun. I live up here in Ontario about a 3 hr drive north of Cobourg and yes you pronounced it correctly. I own four Cooeys. Two model 84’s in 16ga, and one in 20ga, and a model 37a  ‘youth model’ in .410. All still in service today. Many a ruffed grouse has made their final resting place on my family’s plate because of the Cooey shotgun. They were and still are very common up here in Canada. There wasn’t a pick up truck around here in the fall that didn’t have a Cooey shotgun broke open on the seat.My Grandfather sold many of them in his gun shop back in the ‘60’s. My father said they were $35 brand new back then. Now at most of our gun shows around here a good used one will be around $200. Thanks again! God Bless Canada and the USA. Here’s to better days for both of us.

I actually have a Winchester 37a 28 gauge my dad owned since the early 70's. I use to use it when I was 10 years old with my dad squirrel and rabbit hunting. First gun I ever fired. And when I was 11 years old, mom and dad bought me a Winchester 37a 20 gauge to Christmas that year. I turned 11 years old on December 22nd 1977 right before Christmas.

A year after Winchester dropped the production of this firearm, they decided (for some reason) to do market study on it
The study found that stopping production was the worst mistake that Winchester had ever made!

My older brother's first shotgun was a Model 37A in .410. I will never forget how sturdily built that simple little shotgun was. It was by far the best made single shot I ever handled.

Thank you again for some interesting information on another firearm from the past. 👍

I just got a 37a from my neighbor, His health is getting bad and he told me I could have it,
Thank you for the information,
It’s in really good shape for as old as it is

Love what your doing!! Your very gifted in your ability to talk and explain things. I know you did the Rem 700 already, but I'd like an even more in depth video on that. Also the weatherby mark v would be a great one.

Phenomenal information, extremely well done. I collect these and they are Soooooo useful and utilitarian. My first " deer gun" was a 20 gauge. I plan to restore some of them, for historical preservation.

🍁 thanks for this video 🇨🇦

Cobourg was pronounced correctly Canadian aproved. Cobourg was named in recognition of the marriage of Princess Charlotte Augusta of Wales to Prince Leopold of Saxe-Coburg-Saalfeld. In 1818.
