Ello and welcome back to another video! I have seen Legends of Avantris on tiktok before, but I would only see a few of their animated shorts due to algorithm being the classic "you follow them, so we show them less". So, after talking to my community about wanting to watch more of them, we decided to just watch a whole compilation on stream! I know I have missed a lot of their uploads and I love the animations/jokes, so I cannot wait to see more!

Thanks for the vid.
A good portion of the animation is done by Shoocharu. They also did animations for Game Grumps.

I TOTALLY recommend the side by side, seeing it live is pretty hilarious when you see what REALLY happened behind the animations.

4 years? That's underselling it. They've been streaming since late 2017. "Uprooted" and "Once Upon a Witchlight" started in 2022, but they were streaming several campaigns before that, including a massively homebrewed version of the widely popular "Curse if Strahd" module.

"Raw-dogging" has been around the 90's.

To explain Kelsey's story:
The chef was trying out a new recipe and wanted customer feedback... just apparently asked in a less than clear manner. Maybe?

As a retail worker I would not be surprised if there were bitsy people in the world.

Based on what I see five days a week, my faith in humanity cannot go lower

19:30 - "if the feather doesn't fit you must acquit" line was reference to lawyer's defense ("if the glove doesn't fit, you must acquit")

Blue Jay Simpson=OJ Simpson, a football player back in the 90s that had an infamous trial after the murder of his wife. One of the defenses his lawyers posited was the fact that the leather glove that was used in the murder couldn't fit OJ's hand, (this despite the fact that various conditions can easily cause leather gloves to shrink). Resulting in the famous line "If the glove doesn't fit, you must acquit!"

First time watching this channel (legends of avantris shorts are one of like 3-4 things I watch everyone's reactions to that I come across) and the lack of an intro of any kind THREW me for a loop (not necessarily a bad thing, just caught me so off guard and confounded me)

edit: alright I guess I now need to find out wth this leon lore is LMAO

Okay, this is purely the tabletop nerd in me, but: Take a look at Legend in the Mist. Simpler than DnD while still allowing a whole lotta room for you to be whatever you want. And just because it says it's rustic fantasy, it's really a system you can use for a lotta genres as it is.

Anyway, enjoying your reactions! :3

Honestly I think if you just get a group you vibe with it's a lot easier than you think. Don't cut yourself short, just need a good group.

I am pretty old and will admit the first time I ever heard raw dogging used in real life words and online words was in sexual ways. Granted I live in the woods like a hermit.
