24 hours of Appalachia held the miner and logger delight lll in Hinton West Virginia it was broke down into two sections total of a little over 500 miles. Nate and me ran it together helping each other along the way. We finished section 1 which was 300 miles in 11.5 hours. Even tho we quit after section one we learned a lot and will come back better prepared. This event was very organized and a great time I can’t wait to try another one.

43:50 is where I dropped my GPS. I didn’t even realize it till I was at the top and through the next bit. Lucky I found it but that section was rough.

At 16:53 the weeds down on the right side is where I laid my bike down and slid into the weeds. 😂

You're correct being wary of those holes. Might be 6" deep. Might be 6' deep. 💀

Thanks for posting... I'm not far from Hinton, WV. Didn't know that's where it started. Those windmills... I know where thats at. Driven past them a few times driving a box truck on a former job. A ways from Hinton. That route really coveted some ground, eh?

Thanks for taking us along for the ride ;-)

Great video, I like the narration. You’ll conquer it next time ✊🏻

Awesome video man! You gave me and my buds some stickers Friday night. Fine work getting that big girl up those climbs. I finished up the rally in 19.5 hours on my 890 and I was absolutely spent at the end. Doing these things on the heavy bikes is no joke. No joke on anything really.

Aweome video! The video does not do some of that stuff any justice. You have to be there to full understand haha. But that road with the rocks and the jeeps were stuck with yall i cant even remember for the life of me. But my hats off to you two riding those big heavy machines through that stuff. I dont think i could even make it to the starting line on one haha

Thanks for posting this. Great footage and narration.
I know what you mean about hating quit. I fell over twice on the left side after those mud bogs and bent my shifter peg pretty bad. After trying to straighten it the second time it was pretty bad and I was afraid it would snap if I went down again.
I don’t know how you guys manage that on those big top heavy T-7’s.
When I got back Sunday, I told my wife that I probably wouldn’t do anymore of these rallys but it’s been bothering me all week. I’d really like to finish one.
How much air were you running in the rear?

I bought a Plews Big boy tire for events like this, would it be worth it?? Definitely will loose some time on the road, but I feel like it would hook up way better on gravel, the hills and mud situations. 🤷🏻‍♂️ if your not familiar, look those tires up they look nasty, I just hadn’t installed because I’m mainly on the road back and forth to work right now.
