I have worked with adults with down syndrome, and I can say they are the closest thing to heaven on earth. They have such a gentle, sweet soul, and they cannot be tainted by this evil wicked world.

Have you ever noticed that children with Down Syndrome have such sweet, innocent faces?  They were given to be loved.

Handicapped children are a gift and Not a mistake. A society without compassionate for the handicapped is a sick society.

Especially when you consider that the Olympic games in Germany Germany lost to the American specifically to the African-American known as Jesse Owens...

This was interesting.  Almost all babies born with down syndrome have heart defects that are routinely corrected when they are infants.  I doubt if Adini had any sort of surgery?  The fact that she lived to be 65 is incredible.

What a wonderful story of a mothers love.  We don't hear enough of these.  The little princess was very fortunate to have a lioness as a mother.

I was told I was a pos person for having a baby with Down syndrome. As a mom it’s my job to give her the best life and teach her right from wrong.

This is so sad. No child should have to go through this.

Princess Alexandrine likely had a variant of Down Syndrome.  Mosaic Down Syndrome is when the extra 21st chromosome is only present in some cells, not all.  This leads to fewer symptoms and a higher intelligence.  There are some people with mosaic Down Syndrome who test into the superior range and very superior range of the WISC IV IQ test, and this is sufficient for gifted placement in school.  Unfortunately this isn’t necessarily beneficial for such students due to medical complications.  The 21st chromosome carries variant alleles for Alzheimer’s and the liquid cancers and development of the heart and controls other genes for eye and motor development.  Obviously, an extra chromosome produces extra proteins which is why a person with Down Syndrome has the symptoms they do.  Work is on going in silencing the extra chromosome so that children with Down Syndrome don’t experience the medical and neuropsychiatric complications from their disorder.  The kids with Down Syndrome I’ve had the pleasure to meet are usually very sweet, it’s true…but they have emotions and thoughts like anyone else, and deserve a chance to participate actively in society.  I am a neurological and psychiatric nurse practitioner with a brain injury specialty … I’m a brain injury survivor from 31 years ago.  Hopefully some of my research will help kids and adults with Down Syndrome as well as people with Acquired Brain Injury… Down Syndrome is NOT a hereditary disease.  It’s a de novo chromosomal disorder caused by non disjunction during early mitosis for Mosaic Down Syndrome … now if she didn’t have Mosaic Down, but had Down Syndrome, then it usually (not always) was due to a chromosomal non disjunction in Meiosis I, while her mother was herself in utero.  Possibly due to exposure to a virus or a cosmic ray particle or toxin.  We still don’t understand all the factors leading to de novo chromosomal alterations yet.  If we are going to genuinely cure chromosomal and genetic diseases and disorders we still have much to learn.

Person with a disability.  I love this story.  Royal or not, a mother's love is a powerful thing.  People often forget disabled people were the guinea pigs for the Final Solution.  And even after T4 the disabled weren't safe.  Those not claimed by drugging and starvation were sent to camps where, barring some sick medical fascination, they were sent to the gas chambers.  These stories need to be validated and spoken of at memorials and in museums.

Sad, but true. I’m a retired teacher and handicapped children, either physically, mentally, or both, are rarely seen. Physical conditions are much easier to correct by medical treatments, but children with Down Syndrome, other forms of mental disability are much fewer. I’m afraid many are erased by abortion.

Every person should watch this.

Tsar Nicholas, Kaiser Wilhelm, and King George of England were all cousins. You can see it in the famous photograph of them together. It is monstrous what has been done to children who have physical or mental challenges.

Sterilising epileptics 🤬 having epilepsy doesn’t mean you child will have it. I have epilepsy. Most people with epilepsy have healthy children.
