Hm.

I just started with mega+ with 80 hours in already and all achievements except the last. This game was the best investment

I would like to make an honorable mention to Jesmon for having an innate physical reflect skill.

For everyone wondering: all you need to do for the achievement is beat the final boss on mega+. You can start a NG+ file on a lower difficulty, turn it up to Mega+ for the final boss and get it that way as well. This also saves you the effort of building an entire roster of juiced up digimon for the entire game. Train up a Venusmon for heals and Apocalymon for damage and that should already be enough for the final boss.

The Lucemon thing is because in his Lore his Rookie form was able to fight on equal footing to the 10 Legendary Warriors as their Ancient Mega Selves (AncientGreymon, AncientGarurumon, etc). As a ROOKIE he was throwing hands with 10 Very Powerful Megas, and was WINNING, with only AncientGreymon and AncientGarurumon left to seal him away. And he only got stronger from there, with his Ultimate form wiping the floor with KaiserGreymon and MagnaGarurumon until they formed Susanoomon.

So I’m gonna use Gallantmon cause he’s my fav 😂

To defeat the mega+ difficulty you just need to train 2 babies at the farm until one reaches max DEF and the other max SPI (both mustn't train the other defense and should also max HP, SP and SPD), then the one with max def must learn and spam Magic reflect and the other attack reflect, each time the boss attacks them the damage would be reflected and you'd make them 50k each time they attack, I also recomend a digimon with the Personality skill great embrace to heal them until twice the max HP

I completed Mega+ a couple of weeks ago. My advice, just get your Digimon's ability to the one which buffs Digimon on heal, and slap everyone with X-Heal and X-Aura. After that, level up the stats of whichever Digimon you want to use.

For Equipment, you only need to care about Multi-Wall. If you want to protect from stats debuff, just throw in an equipment from that, but optional. Anyway the first part of my statement is more important. Do that, and it doesn't matter which Digimon you use. Mega+ just becomes trivial.

Mastemon is badass

I like having GraceNovamon for thematics, being the Olympos XII approximate to Omnimon essentially

@filiptrajkovski2198 8 months ago

seeing gotsumon with the ATK and INT values equivalent of "I can punch you into a heroshima shadow" is menacing as hell

@onepikeike6467 9 months ago

You are absolutely right. You have to have your stats up there or you're getting one shot at mostly every digimon, you run into I literally spent 3 hours maxing out 2 of my digimons.
Maxing, all of their stats.

@LunarisRogue 2 weeks ago

2:35 Also works with Angemon for infinite Ankylomon

No susanomon? Considering with the right team he can one shot most bosses on mega + with that 8 hit move in surprised hes not on here. He carried me through mega+

Magnamon REALLY needs more love, especially after the recent X-antibody DLC. Especially for the final boss fight when your team is de-digivolved, Magnamon essentially skips champion and ultimate stages and starts kicking a$$ sooner.

I Nick name all my Digimon and forgot their real names and some of them are in my team now. I just started mega plus and have been trying to somewhat speed run it and not rely on my team from my first play through. The funny thing is NONE of my first play through team is on this list but a good portion of my current team and the back team I was thinking of are 😂

Lady devimon is my fav. digimon

@brokendaydream94 10 months ago

Great video. I don't even plan on doing hard mode, but still a good watch

@cfjahn 9 months ago

You need only Omnimon, Apocalymon and Lilithmon.

Loved this game, probably my second favorite game released this year behind Expedition 33. Highly recommend it to anyone interested.

My final team was a Fire damage team built around Gaiomon and Ceresmon's Fire Resistance debuffs + ShineGreymon BM, Agumon Bond, Apollomon and Megidramon.
