I recently purchased the comfort seat and it really made a difference for any ride over 2 hours.  The T120 is a wonderful motorcycle.  Great review.

I've done 500+ miles in a single day on my 2020 T120.  I do have a custom-made faux leather seat cover that has 6mm of gel pad built in, which helps some.  Hours of high-speed cruising (85+ mph) into a stiff headwind really tests your arms.  I was riding with my brother, who was on a big Harley police bike with a large windshield.  We switched bikes for 30 miles, and it was night and day; it was so easy on the Harley, super comfy.  I still prefer my Bonneville because I get more of a sense of speed with the wind blasting you and if I wanted to be really comfy, I would take a car.

Feedback for any prospective buyers.  I'm a 72 year old year round rider who has owned 48 Japanese and European motorcycles with six bikes on hand now.  I bought a 2022 Tiger 900 GT with under 100 miles on it because on paper it was the best choice for me.  Less than an year I had to sell due to intolerable engine vibration---not only quantity but disturbing quality of it.  After some test rides purchased a 2024 T120 with under 400 miles.  I added a Givi luggage rack, center stand, Parabellum tall touring shield and MRA bolt on shield spoiler.  I am 5'10" and 180 pounds.  This shield combo admittedly ruins the aesthetics but provides body and helmet comfort at all interstate speeds.  The suspension is absolutely fine without upgrading and I have had some really good suspensions.  No vibration to speak of all the way to 90 mph.  Added the BC shorty pipes primarily for wheel and chain maintenance and find them surprisingly quiet at any highway speeds, but loud enough for enjoyment at lower speeds.  The Tiger was a functionally better bike in every other way, but total comfort is the priority for me at this age and the T120 couldn't be better.  Like my 2010 BMW R1200 rt, it allows me to ride nearly any time and distance in comfort just by sitting on a gel seat pad.  My 2015 865 Bonneville Newchurch edition was upgraded with progressive front springs and Hagon rear shocks along with Zard slip on pipes which look and sound great.  Suspension compliance is still harsh on this bike.  The smaller Bonnie is more fun, more flickable---although still lagging behind most other bikes in that respect---has sharper more immediate throttle response, tubeless tires, and retains its otherwise stock appearance beauty.  The T120 just feels like the most comfortable shoes or jeans I have ever owned, which is just what I was looking for.  Would just admit that 15 years ago, I would have bought the Speed Twin for lighter weight, more power and better handling.

Love that Triumph keeps building these Bonnie's - I miss my old Triple T'bird and wish they would bring those back (retro of course).

Best retro classic bike out there, always like your honest reviews and commentary, look forward to the next one

I really appreciate this whole production and the work you’ve put in. Thank you

I find it surprising on Triumph's part that there is still no key for adjusting the shocks in the onboard toolkit. I ride an old T100 that will soon be 20 years old, and I thought that this tool had been lost over the years, but no, it would never have been included !
I love the T120 in this red and grey livery, but it’s the unique sound of my T100 with the 360-degree crankshaft that keeps me from switching !
Thanks for this review.👍🍻

Watching your ride after I just finished my own ride.. on my T120 :).
It's a bike that's nice enough to watch on the telly, even after seeing in person.
Cheers! 🍺

T120 owner here and agree with the comfort over long distances. Around 3 hours I'm up on the pegs now and again to stretch out which I think is very reasonable. Just a nice well built motorbike! 🍻

Triumph scrambler 900 with traditional bench seat is typically good for 2 hrs riding but l honestly think we need to be getting off after 2 hrs and having a break.
Cup of tea/Coffee   gives the body and mind a break .
Beautiful 120 love that sound  😍

Exact information I needed, thx alot for your video. Good job.

What a wonderful beautiful location, and with a stedy good motor bike. I want this life.❤

I had a '17 T120 for about five months last year. Such a cool bike. Forest green and white with a gold pin stripe--Triumph really goes for it with some of the paint schemes. Gets lots of compliments and people come out of the woodwork and want to talk about the old Triumph they had back in the day (don't be in a hurry when riding one). Mine had a touring screen and Triumph vinyl saddlebags. I used it mostly as a daily commuter--about 30 miles (US) round trip. Great gas mileage, smallish tank but you can get 150 miles no problem. I didn't like the seat and thought about swapping for the Triumph comfort seat but there's nowhere that you can demo these kinds of things which is a bummer. Chain maintenance and tire changes are a bit of a pain because the exhaust is in the way. My two cents

Nice bike. Cheers.

I think this is definitely going to be my next bike. I got the mountains close by here in SoCal. I can do a ride up the front and down the back in about 3 or 4 hours.

2 hours of voluntary motorway riding is crazy 😂 I dont know why but regardless of what bike I'm on, I find motorway riding so draining but hats off to you for doing it for the sake of the test

Hi. I have a T120 and it's a great bike.
The only issues that I found was that the suspension was a bit poor from stock, and the gearbox is a bit clunky.
I put progressive tec springs on the front, and YSS progressive springs on the rear which made a definate improvement. I de-catted it which was a cow of a job, (x pipe) and fitted a booster plug to improve the fuelling. (Euro 4)
Runs lovely, a definate keeper. 😊

Got a very low mileage 2023 t120 last year. I haven't had time to put a lot of miles on it.  Would you, or do people put foot boards on these bikes?  I was surprised you did not complain about the seat and need to upgrade to the more comfy model.  Very good video.

2026 bonnie is a gem, my only complain is the rear brake pedal and strength, its too low and weak, other than that 👌🏾

Edit: also mirrors 😂

A standard basic bike, with a great motor, a big flat easy seat... make it what you want. I have a Scrambler 1200, but would take a T120 as well.
