I'm convinced that the map rotation is bugged in some way. Maps like the walking dead and five nights at freddy's map I never ever get, meanwhile I'll get Badam Preschool or one of the space maps over and over and over again. There might be around 40 maps in the game but it feels like theres only around a dozen at most

The reason why power moves is so high is because of 2v8, you technically don't have perks in that, so every escape in 2v8 counts towards power moves

5:18 It’s not random. You actually go to the door whose camera you are looking through at the moment, but it’s true it’s still not worth it, half of the time you can even get there faster by running also.

I actually got the “jumpscared” achievement by….being friendly. I just point to the door to the survivors and let them escaped afterwards.

I have the “jump-scared achievement,” simply because survivors used the doors a ton at the beginning of Springtrap’s release, to try and use the new power, but I quickly noticed that they almost never did very shortly after

I remember meeting all the conditions for item of obsession while playing solo queue, and one of the other survivors was just waiting at the exit gate for the killer to come. I was just pointing over and over and over again for her to PLEASE leave so I could also leave without getting hit and eventually she took the hint. it's such a stressful achievement!

When stranger things left
Demo's adept became tools of the trade
Steve & Nancy's adepts became the two: skilled & expert generalist achievements

18:20 is also because when 2v8 first came out and for the first few editions the survivor classes counted as no perks for some reason and escaping gave progress to this achievement. I have no idea if it still works this way but that’s how I got mine lol

Whenever I play killer on RPD I usually get everyone to final stage then afk just in case anyone is trying for the achievement. I know I would have won anyway, I'll be fine with just one loss.

If I remember correctly, it took me 5 months and 2 weeks to get "Don't Open, Dead Inside" achievement. It was painful, so I'm happy it's finally over. Now I can focus on killer achievements again.

"Not that frequently"
Me getting RPD every other god damn game

5:32 I actually got this on day 1 of Springtrap being live, since a lot of new players were in just to try out springy and people didnt realize how doomed they were if they went through the office, took me about 8 hours to complete tho

Everytime I try to ask a streamer for help with a extremely difficult achievement, they always insult me/be rude, I don't know how other people are getting these friendly streamers 😭

@simpkweenravenous 5 months ago

for the "Left for Dead," achievement ( 13:25 ) , you can be repairing a gen, and if killer closes hatch, it pops the gens counting towards that part of the achievement

It’s weird how a lot of other games have weird achievements that you get by doing something hard then DBD has weird achievements that you get by doing something hard 20 times

@cclockwize 3 months ago

8:11 well, it's probably because to get the latter achievement, you need to purchase and play vecna, while the former only requires playing survivor. many people who prefer playing survivor just won't buy many killers (if any), and some killer players don't care to play vecna, so regardless of if there is an even amount of players on both sides, not many people are going to purchase vecna for it

The way I got my "From the Void She Kills" was simply getting a Survivor to a window during the chase then getting them to vault back and forth to avoid the attack, since they're vaulting in a quick succession it's a medium vault so you can grab.

Anytime I face a Glitchtrap, I always get his attention and shine my light at his door while I smile and nod. He getting that achievement today baby! 💪

@bigchill7789 5 months ago (edited)

13:50 WAIT, no no no, you don't have to repair "until the killer finds the hatch", I found this the hard way, but if you're on a gen when the killer closes the hatch, the game considers that you've repaired it. So shortly: just repair while the killer is looking for the hatch and then escape through gate 🙌🏻

I'll always remember when I got hand-eye coordination : I was noting every killer I faced to have some stats and Vecna was the last I hadn't faced after more than a year! And first chest I opened I rolled a 20! I was so happy to play with friends at the time and managed to escape, getting the achievement on top of completing my observation studies! Best day of my life on this game
