What does a man do when offered freedom in exchange for a single word of silence… and he refuses? Saint Benjamin did. In this video, you'll discover the extraordinary and devastating story of a 5th-century Persian deacon who was freed thanks to the intervention of the Roman Empire under a single condition—never to preach Christianity again. Benjamin accepted his freedom… and the very next day he was back preaching in the streets as if nothing had happened. You'll learn about the diplomatic conflict that nearly saved his life, the decision that sealed his fate, and the details of the most brutally calculated martyrdom in the history of the early Church—an execution specifically designed to be as painful and slow as possible. A story of freedom, unwavering faith, and courage that defies all human explanation.
